[QUOTE="dragonfly110"]

[QUOTE="Killzowner"] from everyone who is excited about playing HARDCORE games with motion tech. it was fun for a while on the wii, but they just dont make the kind of games that sony devs make, and sony devs are already working with the motion control. Cant wait to see the game. Natal however is more focused on non-hardcore gaming, such as folder movements, pc applications, and casual dinosaur walking experiences.Killzowner

er Im not a lemming (I personally think all 3 motion things are lame) but natal isnt used for any of that stuff that I know of :P How can you move PC applications on a 360 (unless you are talking about the PC natal of course...) its used as an add on for games (not completely take over the games like the wii mote) I mean Rare is working on it, you know its gonna have something good in it with them.

see thats the thing, microsoft has actually said they are looking at pc applications and such for natal. this shows they are not putting 100% effort of its use for 360 and gaming only. Sony however is not worried about anything else except gaming for their motion control. This is why i take them serious.

I'm glad Sony doesn't look to put their hardware in other things outside of gaming. You know like Cell processors in computers or BluRay players other than in PS3. I know when I talk about Sony they are only about gaming. WOOT!

Back on topic, the reason I see Natal getting more attention is because it is being made avilable to the public. At E3 the public was able to play with it, heck it was even on the Jimmy Fallon show.

[QUOTE="player_leo"]I'll get excited about this when it's not 2 Sony reps just talking hype. Has anyone outside of Sony even been able to mess with this. The reason people were more excited about Natal was because it wasn't just Microsoft reps talking it up, but many people outside of the MS circle. Heck even Jimmy Fallon played it and was very impressed. All that talk reminds me of how Sixaxis was the most revolutionary controller ever, or how Home is going to be the hottest thing on any system. Sony, if you're so confident about your controller, than let some one else review it using their own hands.Animal-Mother
I think IGN has messed with it a bit

Is there a link with their review ?

One draw back that I see with this move is this will be good for companies wanting to do exclusives on the PS3, as this engine is built around the PS3 hardware, BUT the problem lies in that many game companies are moving away from exclusives and more to making multiplatforms. And on top of that some companies (such as Activision) don't see as being very worth while or even profitable to make games for the PS3. It's great that the engine is being put out there, I jsut don't see a bunch of companies jumping on the band wagon.

Sorry, but I have to say the best DL game of the year for both PS3 and 360 is going to be Marvel vs Capcom 2. Definitely not Splosion Man!

yeah, I see MVC2 crashing the servers because so many people are talking about getting it.

Try being hardcore after you have kids. Had to change my gamercard to say "Recreational" instead of 'Pro'

Simply, Home isnt ready enough for Gamers yet. Nonstop-Madness

Nice damage control. Seems the generalconclusion torwards Home is that it will eventually get better but now it has become a failed use of money and resources for Sony.

I sure hope they go multiplate, PS3 and 360.
