@npiet1: It's a mission called into the sunset. I looked it up and it's an achievment thing. I'm not interested in any more silly side-missions. If I'm done the game, why doesn't it just cut to credits? And if I HAVE to earn this trophy thing, what's the fastest way? It's completely unclear what I'm supposed to do.

@heljar: I thought I was there when Marston was killed. But now I have taken on the role of his son and I have to do missions again. What?!
I did all the adventuring and returned to the family. Now I'm just doing a bunch of boring farmer tasks. When does this game end and am I supposed to somehow pick up deadly missions again?
Anybody know how I know how soon the game ends? Marston has reunited with his family. There can't be much more story left, can there?
Good responses here. I guess now that I know how to play these kinds of games better from all my practice with GTA4, I am less liable to make mistakes in RDR. But it also helps that every time I have to redo a mission in RDR, I am not sent back to a point where I have to drive through a giant city for five minutes just to get back to where I was in the mission! RDR seems much more forgiving in this regard. I guess its save system is different.
For GTA4 I had to do each mission between 3 and 30 times to pass them. In RDR I can finish most in one try. Why is that?
How come RDR is so easy? In GTA4 I would have to do most of the missions 3-30 times to pass them! With RDR I just blow through.
So now that I've completed gta4 I realize that was good practice for this game. In fact I have to ask, what are the essential differences between Red and gta4? It seems like it's designed in a similar way as gta4 and also includes a list of characters who give you various missions. Is the premise the same in that you have story missions that you can follow in a linear way to complete the game, with side missions if you want to linger? And what's the story? Just arresting or killing the cowboy gang you meet at the beginning?
@vagrantsnow: File it away and try another one.
After the credits, Nico is back in the park. Huh?
