Dang You Wal-Mart

So I went to Wal-Mart the other day to buy some produce items. I then went to the check-out. I thought the total would be somewhere around $20 or so. When the items were being weighed, I think the cashier cheated me because his belly was on the machine. I was shocked and didn't say anything. The total was $30.:o

I got owned by a fat guy.:x

Emblem Update (Have A Lot To Cover)

So it's been a while since my last update. I was just a regular guy in is search for emblems. Now I give you 8 new ones (I know, I'm a machine!) and tell you how I got them. I'm not sure about the actual way to obtain these but this is how I think that I got them.

Old-School Old-School

This emblem was obtained for having a lot of old school games (hence the name) such as Mario, Punch-Out, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade (not real sure about the name but I know that it has arcade in it), and Zelda.

Good TasteGood Taste

I got this emblem mainly because I actually look at GameSpot's reviews. I usually only buy games that get a score around somewhere near a 9 (8.5 at least). Now, obviously, I will need to extend that range because of the new GameSpot scoring system. I only buy games that are lower than 8.5 if I really like them.

PlayStation 2 AficionadoPlaystation 2 Aficionado

This emblem was given to me because I own a ps2 and buy games for it. Befor my PS3, I didn't own any other 6th gen console besides the Dreamcast (and we all know how that one turned out. Dang you piracy!) so I had to just game on my PS2.

Virtually There: E3 2007 Microsoft Conference.Virtually There: E3 2007 Microsoft Conference.

This one was awarded to me for watching the E3 2007 Microsoft Press Conference Live. For all of the great games coming out, I have an even greater incentive to buy that Xbox 360 on my E3 list (I'll update that for you guys tomorrow).

Virtually There: E3 2007 Nintendo ConferenceVirtually There: E3 2007 Nintendo Press Conference

This emblem was deserved by watching the E3 2007 Nintendo Press Conference Live. Wii Fit looks interesting, but the durability of the board worries me. "Can it hold 300 lbs.?" is my question. Anyways, I'm definitely going to get a Wii this holiday season.

Virtually There: E3 2007 Sony Conference.Virtually There: E3 2007 Sony Press Conference.

This beautiful emblem was well earned by watching the E3 2007 Sony Press Conference. Home, Killzone 2, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction will rule this holiday season. Killzone 2, take me Home!

Virtually There: E3 2007 GameSpot Show ZealotVirtually There: E3 2007 GameSpot Show Zealot

My life for footage! Riecieved this emblem for watching all 3 days of GameSpot's live coverage shows of E3 2007. Not only did I just watch the conferences, but I watched somewhere around 30 hours of it. I had 2 computers set up, a fridge and I literally lived in the computer room for all of E3. (I ocassionally I took showers so don't worry about my hygeine). Man, was life good during E3 2007!

Mmmm, pieMmmm, pie

This baby I got by voting in the official cake versus pie thread. That's right everybody. I said it. Pie is superior to cake! I'm talking to you guys, Jeff Gerstmann and Rich Gallup. Juat admit that pie is better than cake.

PIE!

And my journey for the elusive emblems continues.

E3 Has Ended

E3 is now over. I enjoyed it quite a bit! I took every bit of coverage that came at me. I watched every press conference, and all of the live GameSpot E3 2007 coverage. I even took out a second computer, one for all of the live coverage and one for all of the news that GameSpot was churning out. I nearly commented on every news post and said how I felt about it. You can check. I literally lived by my computers during the 3 (technically 4) days of E3! I even brought my fridge in! I watched every single second of the live coverage (Except for a little bit this morning. My connection dropped for a few seconds. Dang you Friday the 13th. Dang you all!!!!!!). I know that i joked around about my preparations but this is all true. I live for E3! For all of this work, I hope that I get an emblem such as last years "E3 Monster"! Even if there isn't such an emblem, I enjoyed my E3 with gameSpot because they are the best. GameSpot had the best coverage anywhere! Don't stop ever GameSpot! Can't wait for next!

What did you think about this year's E3 with GameSpot?!?!?!?!?!

Best Press Conference

Sony had the best press conference by far today. It didn't bore the audience with graphs and statistics for 20 minutes or talk for half an hour on third party games. Don't they know that that game is coming out for all 5 current-gen platforms?!?!?! Gosh! Sony was straight to the point. Sony revealed the "news" with new things that we didn't know about while microsoft just recapped over everything that was already known. Nintendo was really impressive showing Mario Kart and the innovative Wii Fit. Miyamoto is definitely pushing the industry foward.

But I'm not hear to talk about Nintendo, I'm hear to talk about Sony. So the new PSP was expected, but I was rather dissapointed by the lack of new features. Yes, the slim design and ability to show standard-def videos on your television through the device was impressive, I was surprised that there wasn't an internal hard drive, L2 and R2 buttons, new D-pad, or a second analog nub. The design looks really look though. Also, no news on GOW for PSP, which is what I think the most anticipated PSP title coming soon.

Now onto the PS3. The Killzone Trailer wasn't up to the E3 2005 CG on, although it was dang close. It featured outstanding particle affects and lighting, and is shaping up to be a great game. The MGS4 trailer was released, looking awesome. It is now exclusively for the PS3 for sure. On last thing. Where was FFXII?!?!?! That is one of the most anticipated blockbusters coming for the PS3! They showed it last year but not this year! At least give out a new trailer!

All in all, the Sony press conference was the best showing. More E3 blogging coming soon!

The Power Didn't Go Out But.......

So, I was watching the Microsoft press conference. It was beautiful. Clear skies throuout the day. Halfway through the press conference, boom, the internet went out. It wasn't fixed until about 2 A.M.!

Why does this have to happen to me?!?!?!

WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
