Analogy: take a bball game for example.... Wii has a big lead over ps3 (and they started the game at the same time, that helps) Wii is shooting great right now and beat the piss out of ps3. ps3 isn't doing squat and needs someone to step up to make the game closer and perhaps take the lead. some predictions go on past peformances of previous games (i.e., console wars). by looking at early games of the 'season', you might say nintendo will win the game. by looking at the recent games you say sony will win. you use statistics of all sorts to make a prediction and then by those stats, you make your best educated guess on what will be the outcome. but as you know ball games can change hands despite the team's consistency... same with market trends... you really just never know. any one of the three will win the race (quite obvious, i know) but i'm not here to make a prediction, i'm just saying there really is no point in arguing all the time of what will happen. you can't predicit precisely the results of this current game... it's in the first quarter... and one console will 'win', but there will be more games to be played... so who really gives a sh*t? with all the teams, it's us players who win... we can choose and enjoy.. no console is perfect but most of us can be content. it's ridiculous to bash the other consoles and their supporters.. that time can be made playing your fav. videogames (or u could just get a life). fanboys are cheerleaders, but not nearly as sexy. the fans, the players, the gamers are the winners because of the enjoyment of the game.... enough of the stupid anaologies, go play a damn game or get laid or what ever cuz it's better than pointless arguments of videogames: it's not politics... they don't determine your life. didn't mean to make it such a long post but it happens...
