This is something we wont know for a while. Really, there is no indicator to warn you you have the three red lights. My Xbox ran perfectly for a year, then at 13 months, i came home from school and it had died. Completely randomly. It had no performance glitches until then.
It's just my opinion, I guess there great for some people. But I have better things to do than sit and replay and game over and over to get some weird achievement... I mean if there was money involved or something real besides bragging about how you killed 100000 online gamers. Well it all seems pretty mundane to me. There should be an option to turn this off for people that find it completely useless.

TBH, i think that would send out the wrong signal about yourself. I can tell by looking at someones achievement if they suck or just cant be assed. Generally, if they have comparisons turned off, i assume they suck so much they're embarassed.
If you said to me you had 1000 across any two games, i'd say that was average. Those particular games however, are not very hard to get gamerscore in. The GoW campaign is pretty easy even on insane by yourself if you're really trying.
Can someone explain to me how it fits into Marathon? I've never played any of the Marathon games so I wouldn't know.Laughlin_12
From what i understand, the legendary ending is very similar to the marathon opening.

Forerunners =/ = humans. Forerunners found the human race just before they activated the halo's and believed they were special. That is why they created the portal from Earth to the Ark. To save them. It has been theorized that the forerunners could have embedded some of their DNA into ours, however, so that we would have the ability to activate the halo's if the flood survived.
