I remember when it was supposed to be playable at TGS 06 along side DMC4... they were a bit off.

So I guess this means the game will now have respawning? That will be quite a big change... Also opens the doors up to several other gametypes. I wonder how they will handle it? Locusts crawling out of holes and COGs jumping out of the seats of the vehicles? Or they will just pop out of thin air, whatever works I guess.

Where on IGN were these posted at? The fact that they would post them today instead of waiting till tomorrow tells me its just an April Fools joke. But then again these look very convincing despite the extreme blurriness. Props to the faker.

I knew it would be April Fools, I just wanted to come in and see how lame of an attempt at a joke it would be. You exceeded expectations.

Doesn't have to be April Fool's to know that Nintendo doesn't have the balls to do anything like this. Zelda Wii will be exactly like TP but with more Wii controls. Maybe they will throw in a gimmick like using 3d miniature "planet's" as dungeons so people can still claim they are innovators. But either way the gameplay will remain unchanged whatsoever, just like it has in all their games in the past decade.

Its obviously some sort of IPTV or otherwise movie/HD content service for LIVE to go in tandem with the larger Hard Drive and HDMI from last night... Duh.

So because the PS3 launched with the more stock than demand called for that calls for celebration in beating sales records where other companies sold out stock? Shouldn't this only be newsworthy if all 3 shipped with comparable stock numbers and one beat out the others? I mean for all we know with similar numbers the WII and 360 could have sold out completely on launch. Fanboys hyping this non-victory are morons. Now watch as the sales completely stagnate for the next 6 months after all your hype just like EVERYWHERE ELSE. Use your brains from now on, I know it hurts but maybe it will save you from some disappointment.

Those are all concept images it says so in the mag. You can't even call these games really, they're just interactive cutscenes. Pointless really, outside of being graphical showcases.

I had thought EA owned the rights to Deus Ex now but a quick google check showed Eidos is still holding onto it. Anyway, I'd love to see a nextgen Deus Ex taken to the next level (in the direct opposite direction of part 2).. But frankly I don't have much hope in Eidos ability to make it worthwhile.. What was their last game anyway? Thief 3? If it does happen I hope they make it like the original design idea that Spector outlined years ago before Deus Ex 1 released. Its basically the game we all know and loved except it took place in a huge living city where almost all the buildings were enter-able, all the people followed their daily lives, and everything you could think of was interactive. Very ambitious for even today, so you can see why they abandoned that quickly. We need a futuristic cyberpunk Oblivion-ish shooter/rpg peoples. For reals.
