You have to practice A LOT, and learn all the different build orders and whatnot. Personally I don't think it's worth the effort, just play and hope you face someone equally as bad as you.

Scool isn't too bad right now, and I've finally figured out what I want to do with my life, which was what was stressing me out most before. I'd say I'm fairly happy right now.
