...Most people hate this game.  I dont really understand why.  Yes, I downloaded this game for about 6 hours just because I needed to crush my craving for a RTS.  I wasn't dissappointed.

Now I should tell you that I hated RoN. I loved Empire Earth and nothing will ever stop that.  You could say fanboy.  But, RON had too many resources or something and too many things were happening. I dont know,  I just didn't like the way it played. 

First thing, In Rise of Legends, there is only one resource to worry about. Wait, I lied. There are 2 resources. You mine one (some blue gem) and you trade for the other(Weath).  In the beginning you have one city and you can build districts will increase how much you can mine, your pop cap, and research capibilities. 

There are certain spots which are either cities or settlements.  Cities you can upgrade with the different districts.  The settlements give you free units. This is EXTREMELY helpful considering that as you buy units the price inflates.  So if I buy a a soldier for 30 of the blue gem the next soldier will be 35.  This applies to EVERYTHING.(buildings, units, upgrades) This makes you conserve your troops because if you don't you won't beable to produce as much troops, or you will have to conquer more land to get more mines which will cost more troops.  As you can see it gets complicated but it works SO WELL.  It keeps the game moving.

As you can tell, I'm almost in love with this game.  I've been playing the demo for like 6 days straight and still going strong.  As far as I can tell this demo isnt even half the game.  I've mostly been playing as the industrial civ known as Vinci but there is a magical civ called Alin .  Both are very balanced but totally different. 

As a last note, there are special HUGE units you can build.  You can only have one, I consider it kinda like a wonder.  Wonders with legs.  They all have special attacks and special abilities.  I'm telling you.  Download this demo no matter how long it takes.  If you run a little sluggish, turn your settings all the way down and move up one step at a time til you met a good equal.  Remeber this is a pre-gold version and isnt the final version so the game will be optimized more.

SO im downloading the Rise of Legends demo with about half of gamespot and I have about....2 hours and 45 minutes giver or take an hour or two.  

So I was bored so I was looking for some friends and I saw some cool kid with an icon of yoshi with a mohawk.  "Amazing" I thought.  (current rate of download: 26.6 kb per sec YES)

So I invite him as a friend and he accepts and we talk and stuff. 

I got a new badge. My neighborly went to convival im guessing that means : loser but not as bad as neighborly.

Today I learned about the order of radeon video cards, not really. Anyone wanna explain to me what the order is of those cards? thanks in advance.

Ok so since my last blog post I have learned some thing about this game.  One I learned that it is almost entirely controled by the touch screen which is why navi is always ahead of him.  That is why the camera angle is overhead.  I dont feel so bad about it now. 

Other news, my arm hurts from bowling.  That is all.

Ok, so I've watched the trailer like 4 times.  I have to say this game looks bad. I mean  I love zelda but I can't stand the3-d overhead view.  It looks stupid.  Cel-shading doesnt look half bad on the DS. I hope they change the camera angles. I mean it just looks stupid.

Oh well.  I guess they cant use normal 3rd person because everything would be too small to see, But its nintendo and they should beable to come up with something better than that.

The boat direction seems a little wierd too.  Its a nice use of the touch screen but its its still sailing and nintendo knows most of us hated the sailing in WW.  Look. I'm guessing you draw how you want to go to an island and your boat goes on auto pilot and drives you there.

Not that bad of an idea.  Still sailing but not as time consuming it used to be.

Im currently on the hunt for HL2.  Yea that means I beat Opposing Forces and Blue Shift.  BigBenBeast and I had a little convo about the release date of Zelda: TP which is supposed to come out October 16th.  It could be worse.  I saw V for Vendetta which wasnt bad but I've watched shows saying that the Author of the original book doesn't like the movie and says it didn't keep the same concept.

Anyways, anyone else find it funny when all the PS3 fans saw the news they got PO'ed? Whew funny. 

Edit: I discovered Brain age.  I first saw it in NP but didn't think much of it until I read the story.  I have to find myself a demo station

So after about a year i've finally changed my icon.  Its now 4 early link sprites.  I also changed the header of my profile.  Its a tad better than it was. So yea.  you like?

Just beat half life 1. Yea I know.  What took you so long?  Well I never had it so I brought the Antology. (however you spell it)  Its  "freaking" amazing.  I played the demo like 3 years ago.  The demo wasnt actually in the game which was wierd.  unless i missed it.  Well after i beat Opposing Forces and Blue Shift i gotta get HL2. 

Yea today is my birthday.  I'm now 17 and can legally go into R rated movies and legally buy M rated games.  Yea, im getting old

Ok well, I havent had much time so I'm not putting this on the website.  Theres a toys r us going out of business around me so i bought a couple games.  50% off. Cant beat that.  Got Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for about 19 bucks and I got final fantasy 1 & 2 Dawn of Souls for like 5 bucks.

I'm putting some stuff on the site. I just havent uploaded it yet.  Im making myself a homepage too.  So much to do. So little time.
