Yes, we should talk about gun control, and bad parenting. Working in the retail biz for many years, I find it disgusting that parents buy GTA for their eight-to-preteen-year-olds. It seems most parents give in to their whiny kids and buy them a game that has massive amounts of violence. Does GTA glorify violence? Of course it does. Can one choose to not perform violent acts in the game? Sure, but probably most won't. It's the thrill of killing. I don't see why it's so hard to admit that. And kids shouldn't be playing it, plain and simple. It's a game that (most) adults with a few years of reasoning should play, not the little ones.
@williebazerka @StonerDemon Definitely slow, and very difficult. Well worth playing, though, if you have a lot of patience and take the time to "understand" the game.
@StonerDemon I thought I was the only one who thought King's Field: The Ancient City for PS2 was an incredible, incredible game. The PS1 games were great, too. You rock.
I didn't find anything in Dark Souls to be tedious and unstreamlined. It is an incredibly awesome experience that all should try. Intense, beautiful, and special. I'm not worried about Dark Souls II at all -- I believe they will maintain the same level of quality that has graced this series since its inception.
