I just got what I'm guessing is a refurbished console. Strapped my HDD on that it tells which language I want and it can't findy my controller. HELP!battlefront23

its hard to say what will happen in gaming within a 2 year window, to me unless PS3 bust the big guns out next year I think they are doomed by the end of 2008, 360 I think more then anything if the hardware issues are not resolved within the next 6 months to 1 year I think people may just say to hell with MS and get a Wii or PS3 just because they are a realiable console, now with the Wii the systems are selling very well but I think if people who are seeking one cant get one soon will more then likely turn to PS3 or 360 just to have somethin

My 360 recently got 1 red light, now i read dat it has something to do with an av cable so i bought another for like 10 dollars at my local gamestop still didnt work...and im afraid microsoft is not gonna cover and take my 360 in even after the 3 year warranty becuase thats for the 3 red light,they didnt say nothing about 1 being the unreliable bastartds they are any suggestions before i call the dreaded xbox support team lol...........Johndr

Man the more I read about these systems breaking for various reasons and Microsoft seeming like they dont get 2 breakfast farts about how this makes us feel, the more concerned I get about wanting one,I'll admit they have the best games out there and best online play, but frankly the hardware sucks eggs, I dont recall the Original Console having this many problems, truthfully I dont want a PS3 (too much money for the limited selection of games) I had a Wii great system but a limited selection of games, hopefully Microsoft they get the issues dealt with otherwise I see people sellin their 360s even workin ones to trade in for a PS3 or Wii just because there's been little to no issues with either system so I have heard

All I can do is hope for the best and that I get a newer manufactured system when I do get one

Please, enough with the Halo 3 threads already. I know the game comes out in like 72hrs and has an insane amount of hype behind it. We get it. But if I see another Halo 3 thread I think I just might up and lose it. And I know nobody is forcing me to read them, but for like the past 2 weeks its been like 80-90% Halo 3 threads. Nowhere to really carry on a semi-intelligent conversation on games other than Halo 3 Now I know it is impossible to stop them all, but cut back or at least check the freaking sticky first.
