in your case, u will need 2 things,, a rca to 3.5mm adapter, and a female to female 3.5mm converter.

plug the audio rca cables from the xbox 360 to the 2 imputs in your rca to 3.5 mm adapter,, and then plug that into one of the ends of the female to female 3.5mm converter,, then just plug your headphones into the other side,, this will convert your rca or component cable sound into headphones

just get a headset adapter, in australia its 30 dollars, so its relatively cheap, once u have the adapter u can plug any headphones with a 3.5mm audio jack into it,

the kinect for me hasn't added anything new to gameplay, i actually don't think i have any games that support it apart from like calling substitutes in nba 2k14 or screaming at zombies in dead rising, but as far as the console being an entertainment hub, i use the kinect alot for movies, turning down or up the volume, pausing and resuming etc,, also it logs me in automatically when i sit on the couch,

and skype with overseas friends is great, its really clear and easy to use,,

i remember when the xbox 360 games first came out they were 120 dollars for new release games in australia,

no... its funny how you pc elitist think, but try using some common sense, your 500 dollar pc, will not be able to run anything 3 years from now, whereas the xbox one will still have new games comming out for a long time after that, also, your 500 dollars will need to include an operating system, wifi adapter, blue ray player, wireless controller up to the same standards as the xbox one for it to be a fair comparison, so no, you cannot easily build a 500 dollar pc to outperform the xbox one,

theres alot of biased opinions here, and mostly just bull crap,

i'd suggest if you still haven't made up your mind,

look at the list of upcoming games for both consoles, then mark down the ones that interest you,

go with the one with more games ticked,, its that simple,,

all that extra horsepower, resolution, or voice command and tv intergration won't mean anything if your not enjoying the games,

hope they don't lower the score because the reviewer thinks there is too much toilet humour, or too many fart jokes.

every month a few games get released free for the duration of your membership and other ones get taken off that list,

so you wont be able to get those earlier games that are no longer available, however, once u download them, they are in your transaction history, so in the future if u decide to delete them off the harddrive and they get taken off the free games list, u still are able to re download them for free.

the idea is the longer u have your membership the more your game collection grows,
