@Joshmon_us - Have fun in the year 2018 with your Nvidia Geforce GTX 540, because nothing currently makes these graphics look anything like Atari, lol.
I wish they would just make a PS4 and Xbox 720 and put a ATI 5890 in both with a quad core. XD Then it would be up to the first party exclusives to sell the console.
360 is the better console for developers. I play pc games when I want eyecandy, Xbox and PS3 for the exclusives and better controls.. If Forza 3, Fable, Halo, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid and an awesome online downloadable section(360) were all on computer, I would have no need for a console. I can see the difference in these screenshots, and fyi the frame rates are also better on the 360. Oddly enough I heard the draw distance on Oblivion was better on PS3???
I downloaded Windows 7 64-bit this morning. I bought the Home Premium package for 119.99 and it seems to be worth it. The screen flickering and hard crashes I was getting with Vista 64-bit are mostly gone. I have noticed faster booting and I could swear that doing just about anything is faster. My laptop has a dual core T9600 @2.8Ghz, so maybe running vista tasked the processor too much. When I run the benchmark in GTA IV my processor usage is still at 100%, CPU limited to 30-40(35avg with everything on low, 800x600) FPS. My GPU only goes to 80% with 800mb of its 1024 used. But everything seems smoother.
My MAIN problem with my vista 64-bit laptop is it crashes when I watch videos. It plays all games consistently and never crashes during gaming sessions, just videos(windows media player), no matter what program i'm using.
