What is new about that? You just self owned yourself, not a surprise from a cow. Nothing on the ps3 is original, atleast the xbox 360 has Dead Rising, Crackdown, Viva Pinata and a few other games that actually feel unique.

I have to agree with the lemmings in this thread. I can't put any more stock in this than I would a lemming posting something that came from Teamxbox.

It's a mag that affiliated with a certain console, They almost have to write something good about that console in question or they won't have any readers.

Fable is an RPG. Sorry if it does not fit with your preconcieved notion of what an RPG "should" be.

But it is the shortest RPG ever in history. I should konw because I bought it and beat it the same day i bought it. I was disgusted to see the credits rolling only after a couple of hours of having started the game.

I was even more disgusted to see the developers release "teh lost chapters" only after about 2 months of the games release WTF. That pretty much proves my pont. The japanese game audience would oust that devloper and game for the trash it is because they have much higher standards for games of this type.

Overall the general standards for lemmings across the board are pretty mediocore, that's why the xbox audience as awhole praise Halo as something great while the rest of us gamers are left "trying" to find what's supposed to makethis gameso great. (that goes more for halo 2 and 3 than pt 1 which was really good)

Yes, you are right. Its only a few hours long. That is why GameSpy says its 12-15 hours long, IGN says 15-20, and GameSpot says 20-30. And I know I clocked in at least 30 doing all the quests and leveling up.

But just as I started to get into the game...the credits started rolling. This was suppoed to be an RPG. That's unacceptable and I won't make excuses for it's shortcommings.

K buddy, It's been a looong time since I've played the game, but ask me any general question about something anywhere in the game and I should be able to answer it, or prove that I've played through it. I have no reason to lie, I've played and beaten almost every xbox game made. That's why I konw most of it's library is mediocore...and I'm talking about the games that are supposed to be great.

Best games on xbox IMO is PGR pt 1, Sudeki, Blinks the time sweeper (most innovative game on xbox, super underrated), and NG. See, I play games that are't even rated well because I konw a reviewers word is not law.

I don't bash any game forthe hell of it, I do it because I played them forwhat they were suppoed to beand they disapointed me.

To add insult to injury even fable the lost chapters was under 10hrs, rpg me thinks not after the massive delays plus hype that's all fable could come up with just pathetic. Even jrpgs have longer play time from a western rpg dev that just makes me sick, I will never buy another fable game ever unless peter is fired.

First, I don't care what you think an RPG should be. Fable is an RPG. Second, the only way you beat it in 8 hrs is to run through the entire game, doing no side quests or anything.

:| I beat the game in one day and I did every side quest I could. I got that "sword" and everything. The game was one of the two that made me hate xbox and MS's BS advertising for the *greatness* it's games.

Again they released "teh lost chapters" onlyafterabout 2 months of the games release....that should tell you something. But you are too busy defending your presiciouse xbox title to admit to it's mediocroty. That's why xbox360 fans never really have "great" games becaue they are too busy defending and making excuses for them for developers to give a d***.

BTW: That other game that made me decide to give up on MS and xbox for their extreem hypeand promises made for a game that turned out to be completely mediocore wasHalo 2.

If you wanted originality and or betterdiversity, you should have went one of the japanese systems because it's audience is far more open to original and diverse material.

On a side note tho... It's not that 360 doesn't have any original games, it's just that all of the big budget heavy focused games on 360happen to be Shooters. NG2 is the exception.
