So i just woke up and i was so looking forward to my day off and doing absolutely nothing all day. I made sure i got all my bills paid last week for this month. I got all of my Christmas shopping done for my parental units and my sister last week also. I got my apartment cleaned, vehicles washed and i even brought my dog into the vet and got him a haircut and nails trimmed. Basically I've been doing work son. I wanted to get everything handled last week because i knew when Thursday of this week came around i would be off of work until after Christmas. My plan was just to set the cruise control and engage that auto-pilot and relax for a few days.

So operation day #1 of no work was going to start off with a shower and then good cajun breakfast followed by me catching up on some of my shows on my 360s netflix. The relaxing shower was successful. Then i cooked up this great big ass cajun breakfast including homemade biscuits and gravy, pork and crawfish boudin, a side of eggs and some extra spicy andouille sausage (i know, i know y'all all wish you were so lucky to have a breakfast like that but don't hate lol). Anyways i get my big breakfast and i sit down in front of my big ass TV and turn my XBox on and what do i see *****Code of Conduct - 1 Week Temporary Ban*****.

I really, really have some crappy luck lately lol. Now i am kind of used to getting temporarily banned every so often so i always have a back-up plan. I went ahead and set-up my netflix on my PS3 just in case. So i laugh at my 360 console and go to turn on my PS3 and it yellow lights on me. All i could say was WTF i am pretty sure i am being punished lol. So now i am sitting here with a full stomach but no netflix. Well played XBox LIVE, well played. I guess it would not be so frustrating if they sent me some kind of description i mean an exact description of what i did to get temporarily banned. I mean i do not cheat, boost, hack or anything like that. So what if i accidentally team kill an annoying individual that's ruining the game for everyone else in the lobby. Or i may have ran my mouth a little too much. By GOD it had to be done. Anyways folks that's how my day started so i hope y'all's starts a little better. Peace.

So i have been reading up this week that SWTOR has basically went free to play. I started thinking that i would like to get back into the game. Not really looking for anything hardcore but just some fun late night sessions (like maybe some group raids, flashpoints and some good ole PVP). I posted something similar to this in the actual SWTOR forum looking for some players to hook up and play a few games but no one responded so i thought i would blog about it and see if anybody was down. My toons are as follows.

All three of these characters are decked out in champion gear. So if any of you are still playing, about to start playing or possibly know of a small to mid size group please let me know. I am also willing to transfer servers and come to you / your groups particular server. The only catch is i only play and am only willing to transfer over to other PVP servers. Sorry i just cant get into nor enjoy the PVE servers. So yeah if this sounds like something you would be interested in please get in touch with as soon as possible. Thanks......

So today after work i wanted to stop in at my local gamestop and pick up Dishonored and Far Cry 3 for XBox 360. I have never had a quick trip in and out of gamestop mainly because even if i know exactly what im getting, i still look over the 360 and PS3 game walls. Anyways i can not help but notice every time i am in that particular gamestop the majority of the staff are **** They almost come across like they are better in someway than every other gamer that comes in there. Now i am not saying this is the case at every gamestop but the stores around me need to get there **** together. Even the general customer service has fallen below an unacceptable level. Anyway back to what happen today. As i am walking around the store i can not help but over hear a mother and her two younger kids (1 boy and 1 girl) and apparently they have been really good or something like that because she is rewarding each of them with a game of their choice as long as it is not rated M. So the kids are going back and fourth trying to pick out their games and i could hear how excited they were. At one point the mother approaches the employees and asks for a little help to decide which title was right for her kids and she is just basically blown off. It was like they were too damn busy to even give an opinion about a game. YET their were no phones ringing and us four were the only ones in the store. So to make a long story straight i spent about 45 minutes of my time helping this woman. Explaining what kind of games would be ideal for their age level and my own personal opinion etc. Afterwards the woman thanked me and said she would never come back to gamestop again. Unfortunately in my area and a lot of other areas Gamestop is king but if stuff like this continues you will not be king for long. I understand you are a business and in any business the rule is to profit but do not ever neglect or forget about the people that work their as*** off and come in your stores and spend that hard earned money. At the end of the day the majority of us are gamers and with everything going on in the industry and our own government trying to tell us what we can play and regulate the content in them games we all need to stick together.....

So i just recently started getting back on gamespot again after a long absence. I have been so busy with my work gaming had to take a backseat. 2012 has been a great year wait i take that back it has been an incredible year for me. I finally started my own business back in January and its been balls to wall ever since. Anyways i logged back into my account and i was looking over my profile and i see that my last blog was on the Modern Warfare 2 DLC and boy was that a long time ago. I never stopped playing completely and i did finish a couple great titles such as Elder Scrolls Skyrim, Prototype 2, Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning, Dead Island, Gears of War 3, Ghost Recon Future Soldier, Batman Arkham City, Star Wars The Old Republic and Saints Row The Third. I am gonna start working on putting up some reviews for these games very soon.

I was so busy i missed E3 this year so i missed the up-coming releases. I gotta say that the end of the year is my favorite time. All of my new game releases are coming out and there are AAA titles aplenty but this year feels kind of bland to me. Last year i had 7 titles drop within the last 3 months of the year and this year only 2 titles. I just picked up Assassins Creed 3 and Halo 4. Don't get me wrong both of them are stellar titles but i was left wanting for more. I definitely want to pick up Borderlands 2, Dishonored, Far Cry 3, Hitman Absolution and Black Ops 2. Even with all of them titles none of them stood out as "i have got to play that one" and more as "i would not mind playing that one".

Ok so awhile back i blogged about the first DLC for Modern Warfare 2. I was very excited and happy to be getting some new maps for MW2. I didnt complain one bit when i had to pay 1500 microsoft points which equaled out to 15.00 for 3 new maps and 2 throwback maps. So here we are on the release date of the resurgence map pack and i again pay 1500 microsoft points for 3 new maps and 2 throwback maps. You know i can not help but feel like us gamers have been taken advantage of and it pisses me off.

Ive been a loyal Call of Duty fan since the Big Red One. Now i have no problem paying for extra content if i really like the game but usually i feel like ive got my moneys worth. This is not the case now. I understand that there are development costs that go along with DLC but not 30.00 for 6 new maps. I can see now that activision is going to keep on cashing in on this big seller at all costs. Even if it means screwing over there fan base to make a quick buck. Ive given alot of thought to this and i will NOT give anymore of my money to these people. They should be ashamed of themselves and i hope they get whats coming to them....

Well its been awhile since i wrote one of these so here goes. Sadly ive had alot of time on my hands lately due to the fact that i got laid off from my job a few months ago. Ive been searching for a new job and have yet to find anything. Thank god for my savings and unemployment lol. Since i have been laid off i have had alot more time for gaming. I finished Ghostbusters, Batman Arkham Asylum and Red Dead Redemption. Ill be doing a game review on each game as soon as i get a chance. All in all i thoroughly enjoyed all 3 titles although one title left a greater impression on me than the others.

Red Dead Redemption was one helluva ride. I clocked in just over 50 hours into the game. Now i know alot of you did not like Gun but up until this point i did not think a game would come alone and out-do Gun in the whole wild west genre of games. I stand corrected the overall fun factor of Red Dead Redemption blew me away. I still have a few more achievements to get, right now i think ive got 910 gamer score out of a 1000. I was kind of dissapointed in the multiplayer though. It was awesome for the first play through to level 50 but it became boring very quickly. I really do not understand how such an amazing game could lack so much in the multiplayer. The multiplayer almost feels incomplete. Raiding gang hideouts and spawn killing other players (PVP combat) gets old quick.

Anyways im moving on too Left4Dead 2, Mass Effect 2 and Borderlands. Hopefully i can run through them pretty quick so i can let yall know my opinions on the games. Oh yeah i also borrowed Aliens vs Predator from a friend so ill probably beat this one first so i can return his game promptly. Im pretty stoked with E3 right around the corner. Its like the superbowl of gaming lol. I think microsoft is gonna dominate this year but i never count out sony. So i guess we will just have to wait 1 Day, 7Hours and 14 minutes Yeahhhh.....

I am getting pretty excited March 30th is right around the corner and the first DLC content for Modern Warfare 2 will be available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. I'm sure there will be some add-on content for special ops and some new maps to battle it out on. I read somewhere that along with the DLC will come an update. Xbox LIVE Silver Members will now be able to play on-line (Modern Warfare 2's online play will not require a Gold Membership). I really hope the map pack is not a bust like the DLC for the first Modern Warfare was. I hope Infinity Ward will keep the map packs and DLC coming. I personally do not mind paying for DLC especially when it comes to CoD. I was very disappointed with the last Modern Warfare, yes it was a good game but it got boring after awhile. The community was given hardcore headquarters and one BS map pack that i wound up deleting off of my hard drive.

Now i am not a Halo fan at all but Infinity Ward should take some tips from Bungee. Bungee's constantly coming up with new map packs, game modes, expansions or whatever you would like to call it. They keep the games fresh and actually listen to their fan base. Infinity Ward if you are reading this please do not let Modern Warfare 2 go stale like you did with the first one lol. Keep the map packs and game modes coming. Peace.
