In my opinion Oblivion is a way better game then Halo. (MY OPINION) I say this because Halo 2 is just an average game, and is only said to be as good as it is because 1000000000(not an exact figure:P) play it. It has glitches out the wazoo. How is that a GREAT game. Halo is a good game but Oblivion is truly a GREAT game. As for halo 3 nobody can say if it's better then Oblivion because it is not out yet so thats a completely UNINTELLIGENT, because this is what this topic is about, debate. (ONCE AGAIN MY OPINION.) Your's is probably different but, thats your opinion and I'm okay with that. Nofearkid009
Well said, sir.

I don't think there was one because GameSpot don't work on Sundays. If you wanted April Fools, you should have gone to SW yesterday, there was enough joke topics there to last a lifetime!

SO i've owned my 360 since last August, but have only owned my HDTV since December. When I hooked my 360 up to my tv via the component cables I assumed that my 360 would automatically set my HD resolution to the best configuration for my set up (720p, 1080i, or 1080p- with an HDMI or DVI port) BUT!! As I was fooling around, curiously browsing to see what my HD resolution was set on, came to figure out that you have to manually change it, and that this whole time I thought I was playing in HD, but I was sadly mistaken. My new tv's picture quality was so good I just assumed, but in some games like Amped 3 the characters looked picselated. I Don't know but some might have this problem so I took it upon myself to make sure its known ;)

OH! and it's all good in the hood. I'm up to 1080i getting the most I can out of my HD experiance, that is until the Elete comes out this month :)

It has awesome gameplay especially online (which has me hooked atm). The SP has quite a bad F/R in most places but online it is very smooth. The SP graphics are great, but let down by poor F/R. The Online graphics have been toned down quite a lot to reduce lag etc., but are still very good. Overall. this game is very good, it would be 'Amazing' if it had a steady F/R, locked at 30FPS or something higher.

I don't know about FEAR, I played the 360 version and I didn't like it, so I am not looking forward to the FEAR PS3 Version at all (although I may get it for online if it is popular) As for Splinter Cell, I would say around 8.2-8.6. Maybe a little less than the 360 version due to F/R issues and it is older, maybe a little higher due to more content.

Does this game actually require stealth and strategy for spies? I played online for the PS2 version of online and wanted to shoot myself. It was so freaking..(insert derogatory word here). Does it lag online? Does the frame rate stay consistent online? Are the graphics decent? aaaand what kind of stats does it track in ranked games? Sorry for all the questions but yeah lolTakiwara
1) You CAN use strategy, or you can run in, but it is much advised to be stealthly.... I know from experience, 2) There is little to no lag, although there can be Framerate hiccups or slowdowns in large environments, but it is still VERY playable. 3) The framerate indoors is a steady 30FPS, but outdoors in large areas you can notice a sudden drop or slowdown. 4) The SP graphics are AMAZING, but are let down by F/R issues. The multiplayer graphics are toned down, ALOT. But they suit the game and have a very unique art style. They look great, especially as a spy. 5) Ranked? I didn't even know it had ranked. lol.
