So I just downloaded and played my first few games in Quake Live. I have my opinions, but I would love to know what you guys think about it.
And if you have been living under a rock, go check it out at quakelive.com and let us know.

That's awesome! I don't care what anyone says - that game kicked @ss
Endings needed some work though, but still
Ok, I was wondering about the STALKER(shadow of Chernobyl) endings. Exactly how many are there?
I read somewhere that there were 6 or 7 of them, I was able to get three. I would prefer to play through and unlock them rather than just watch them on youtube.
######## SPOILERS ###########
The ending I got were the following
1 - The False ending where you reach the wish granter and just wich to be rich, and end up getting killed for the trouble.
2 - The ending where you choose to become a part of C-Consciousness
3 - The ending where you play through the extra level and then destroy C-Consciousness (my personal favourite)
How do I get the other endings? Did I miss something?
I dont know if this has been posted yet, but I just found a real world bench for an overclocked Corei7 965 Extreme Edition!
Check it out :
http://www.custompc.co.uk/news/605127/core-i7-breaks-all-cpc-benchmark-records-on-air.html
They pushed the cpu that runs at 3.2Ghz at stock to 4.27Ghz with a AIR cooler. :
"With a Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme RT air cooler in place on our Asus P6T Deluxe, we managed to overclock the 3.2GHz CPU all the way to 4.27GHz, using a QPI speed of 177MHz and a 24x multiplier, and a 1.575V vcore. The test system was also bolstered by 6GB of triple-channel Corsair Dominator TR3X6G1600C8D RAM running at 1.77GHz with a 1T command rate, which really helped the multi-tasking score."
Ha Ha
The game isn't even out yet and the 360 is already pirated, what do all those devs that cry about PC piracy have to say now.
Take that Microtheft!!
It doesn't bother me simply because C&C, for me, is about a) COMMANDING and b) CONQUERING.
Fragazine
Supposedly they were going to integreate some"strategic elements" into the gameplay where you would command a squad or something like that. We'll never know how that would have turned out.
EA - LA is going to shut down sooner rather than later.
So Tiberium, the FPS based in the C&C universe has been canned for good. I f you have a few minutes head over to this article and read the posts :

OMG SHOCKING !!!!!:o
While the official reason given for the failed project is 'quality standards not being met' , A number of developers who actually worked on the project, and in the studio(EA - Los-Angeles)post comments that expose the pathetic state of bloated management, the promotions of junior personnel to Senior positions, personnel leaving after as little as 1 week, ext.
A few comments are :
"Dan and team had changed the weapons 5 times. Hired a myriad of clown hack jr designers, all who wanted to be the "AI designer!" Dan was let go, and in came Tim Coolidge, who left after 2 weeks."
"Every step of the way, the new management team sabotaged Tiberium from intentional failings of milestones from day one, to laying off of key contributers"
"Up until the last day you could walk around the office and look into almost any cube at random, witnessing people surf the web, due to purposely misscheduled workloads"
"one time he recieved "employee of the month" even though he was out sick with ulcers for that entire month!"
The accusations go on, and on, and on.
A potentially great game destroyed by pathetic management, makes you wonder..........or just more EA BS?
What are your thoughts on this?
