but theres no dust on the gpu , its the one with the zalman cooler and its clean. i ll go buy some grease and then post here

hey guys just got a phenom II 955 but decided to keep the 8800gt for a bit more. Problem is case is well ventilated and yet gpu heats up to 80 celsius in just 2 mins of GTA4. The pc starts beeping and i either have to quit the game or alt tab it to stop the beeps.

Will applying thermal grease bring the temps down ?

This sucks cause i really wanted to test out the new rig and now these god damn beeps are making me crazzzy.

i have AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-core processor 2.2 Ghz 3 MB RAM

and a ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT graphics card with 256 MB

could i run oblivion maxed out? or how well could i run it.

You should look into Razer too.

They have some great products , u can get a copperhead for under 60$. But gaming mice depends on personal preference so try it before u buy it

hey guys i have saved arnd 550$ just fer a gpu and everyday i see the boxes of crysis, bioshock, cod4, orange box and gow lying on my shelf and feel like pulling my hair out in frustration.

i have amd x2 4000+ running on 4 gigs of ddr2 6400 ( i know this setup will bottleneck the gpu :) )

This gpu market is making me nuts, 8800, 9800, 3870x2, 4870x2 .

so i have decided to wait till march 11 when nvidia unleashes the 9800gx2 .

but then two months down the line ati is slated to launch their 4XXX series of cards which look impressive on paper.

so plz suggest me what shud i get, a 3870x2 now, a 9800gx2 after chekin benchies , 4XXX after it is launched or fer the new 9800 gtx slated fer the third week of march ?????????
