Another thing... We have been called fair weather fans each time our teams have done well this year/last year... Pats do good.. we are fair weather fans.. Sox do good we are fair weather fans... Celtics do well.. we are fair weather fans. Enough with it already. It really is just everyone being jealous of what Boston has going right now. All 5 of our teams have done well./ Bruins got to the play offs and forced a game 7 against the #1 Seed. Celtics have the best record in the NBA and are favored to win the east. Patriots got to the Superbowl and went undefeated in the regular season. Red Sox won the WS and are favored to win it again. NE Revolution are the MLS Championship runnerups 3 years in a row (05 06 07).
Just stop with the jealousy and leave boston alone. it makes you look bad.

Dude just shut up. It's not jealousy, it's TRUTH. Plain, cold, hard, truth.
Before 2004, how many people talked about the Red Sox....no one.
Before the Pats won that Super Bowl, who talked about the Pats....no one.
Before this year, who talked about the Celtics....no one.
Plain and simple Boston-area sports fans are fair weather fans. Oh and before you ask, I root for the Lakers, Broncos, and Yankees, and I live in New England, and I promise you, if what happend to the Yankees in 04, happened to the Sox, so many people would stop wearing Sox gear.....Don't even get me started about lack of Sox, Pats, and Celtics gear before all this happened. Even after the Yankees lost, I was still wearing Yankees stuff all the time and I still talked Yankees all the time to my Red Sox friends. That is a true fan, not you Boston fans.
What? no one talked about the Celtics before this year? Last I looked they are the team with the most championships.
We are bandwagon fans? look at yoruself. Lakers and Yankees and your from NE? Ya, look in the mirror.
A band fan is a fan that roots for teams that are playing well at a certain time
So, rooting for 2 teams that have not won championships in 6 or more years is being a bandwagon fan? Sticking with a team that blows a 3-0 series lead is a band wagon fan? Sticking with another team that blew a 3-1 series lead is a bandwagon fan? Sticking with a team that has the highest expectations of any franchise in sports but hasn't come through in recent years is a bandwagon fan?
