F2P could be a very smart move, especially to reignite interest in a MUCH better sequel that hopefully lacks an abysmal marketing campaign (and gets post release DLC too).
I don't see how a potentially iterative games industry is good for players. My biggest fear is Sony and MS move too close to a bi or even tri-yearly console release, which would be insanely expensive. The mobile industry is already starting to show the signs of decay with this kind of model. Hopefully Neo and Scorpio's primary purpose is for VR, making them a one time, very rare mid generation jump.
@balrogbane: Scotland is very likely to have a second referendum on independence, which will likely succeed. Northern Ireland also now wants a reunified Ireland after predominantly voting to stay in. That just leaves England and Wales. The UK is hanging by a desperate thread.
The idea of a better, more expensive model reminds me so much of the very early days of the last generation with the Elite model. Even though (as far as I can remember) the Elite had the exact same performance, the Neo is in a similar vain, so this isn't an entirely new console model. Still makes me anxious though.
@StaticPenguin: Oh yeah I forgot about Keep, that was a fantastic way of establishing your past decisions and choices, would be cool to see something similar albeit smaller, given it's the first in a likely new trilogy.
@brn-dn: If Crash being remastered is any indication, also as an Activision property, I am 99.9999999999999% certain Spyro is coming back next, especially because the Crash remasters will make absolutely millions from my generation alone.
