It's not really that hard to avoid crossing the line. I've witnessed a few questionable bannings based on accidents with porn appearing on links and such, but most of the people who get banned know they were breaking the rules and did so anyways. If you make a point of flaming people, posting bigoted or racially discriminatory messages, or so forth, you've got to be ready to accept the consequences.
I've flamed people here before when they were acting like idiots (let's face it - people who come here soley to annoy other people deserve to be flamed), but I was always willing to accept the moderation should it come. I've only been moderated a couple of times in four years. I can't really understand how people manage to rack up 50 moderations in a few weeks, as has sometimes been reported.
If you regularly get moderated for 'speaking your mind,' maybe you should be re-evaluating HOW you do it, and perhaps even what you believe.
thats a good point to make but i just feel as thought there taking away makes gamespot diffrent and awsome
