It's been awhile since I read the books. But wasn't there one that survived (a female I believe) in suspended animation that was drifting in space? yes and like I said in my last post, 2 that are trapped in an infinite flux on onyx.

actually it is Onyx,from one of the novels. there are 2 spartans I believe and some other people trapped in a infinitely sized area they fell into to escape a nuclear explosion.
