ugh, how I hate haloNaiKoN9293Yeah, cuz you're jealous. You're just stuck with MP3. Sure it'll be fun, but when it comes down to it, which game will be more worth the purchase? Halo 3. Multiplaye is a good thing. Learn that.
pyoob's forum posts
The only people that care about the SP are the people that suck at the MP. Finale-Wow. Can I be the first to point out that you just made the least true statement ever, EVER.
Yeah, well which force has historically done more? WWII? Vietnam? Yeah, they generally do more. AND they are fantastic warriors with excellent training and equipment.[QUOTE="pyoob"][QUOTE="Samwel_X"]The SAS would destroy the Marines... you're pitting British special forces against guys who for the first few months of the Iraq war killed only friendly troops. SAS = win.Samwel_X
Well ofcourse you can count Vietnam because the British weren't stupid enough to get invovled. How good a group of soldiers are isn't based on how much they have done, anyway, most of the SAS's operations are classified and you are unlikely to know about.
I think that a better fight would actually be U.S. Army Rangers vs SAS. Both are comparable in size and reputation.Well it's been proven that the German GSG9 are the best special police in the worldInfinite-Zr0The evidence... it's overwhelming... You win... Nah, I think that the Spetsnaz are superior. They just sound more badass.

[QUOTE="Hermitkermit"]I like it....But I'm starting to feel like Bungie is portraying Master Chief as Jesus....inoperativeRS
Eh, it's a widespread theory that MC "is" Jesus among halo fans. There's gotta be a reason for all those biblical references in the games... In this very ad for example the battle of Jericho VII is refered to. Does it ring any bells?
What!?!?1 elaborate, please.
The SAS are the best trained and would whip the marines.NickyJo
I'd like to see a paintball match between the SAS and the Navy SEALs.
The SEALs would pwn.
[QUOTE="NobuoMusicMaker"]Sounds like typical American Army talk to me. A cliche.Heil68US Armed forces are the best, most elite, best armed and overall best trained military in the world. I'll take that as a compliment.
Yeah, that's basically true. In the future, people will look back on The U.S. Marine Corps the same way as we look back on the early Praetorian Guard. Elite warriors with the best training and equipment around.
But OFF TOPIC.
[QUOTE="Chaos_Daro"][QUOTE="pyoob"][QUOTE="Chaos_Daro"]Too bad Master chief has no personality. Seriously, he must be one of the least interesting characters I've seen in an FPS. THETRUEDOZAH
Yeah, people say that, I did too once, until I realized that he was supposed to not say nuthin or have any emotions. It wasn't like a, "Bungie was too scared to give the Chief a personality" NO, it was done to make him more accesable and just simply badass. Did you read the last line of the ad?
A hero need not speak. When he is gone, the world will speak for him.
I didn't know that. But that still doesn't change the fact that he's boring. I find it hard to immerse myself in the Halo universe when the main character is basically a robot set to "kill" mode.
sounds about right for me. now if only he were set upon destroying humanity instead of saving it, why, he'd be the perfect virtual avatar. But the chief's is still a human on the inside. Like The Fly (Jeff Goldblum FTW). But the MC isn't really ugly or nothing.... (at least I hope so).
