Hey Gamespot,

Its been such a long time since I made my last blog post. I've been really busy with life and I will post that in another blog post some time in the upcoming days. The topic I would like to talk about today is a pretty serious topic. Everyone who posts on the gamespot fourms is affected by it.

Before the Xbox360 even came out I posted on that discussion board. Everyone was very polite and no one would bash each other about topics. Those were the days you were able to ask a question without being made fun of or being called a fanboy of some sort. Everyone back then would respect everyones questions and there was no right or wrong.

The release of all three next gen consoles are sparked a "war" among gamers. The Sony fans hate the Xbox 360 fans and the Xbox 360 Fans hate the Sony Fans. The Wii Fans are more neutral I feel. Anyway, What i'm seeing a lot is people from the Sony Discussion board coming on the Xbox 360 board and trying to convince everyone why the Xbox 360 is so bad. Now I would not be posting this blog if it was only a small thing. Today April 15, 2007 I have read atleast 6 new topics of Sony Fanboys coming onto the 360 fourms and bashing Xbox 360 users. Its really disgusting to see other gamers not respecting each other. Well the point is why is it so hard for gamers just to be gamers and not argue against each other? Is it really that hard to just play a console for what it is instead of what brand name it is?

This problem on the fourms is getting to much and I believe the only way to solve it is the fact that there needs to be more moderators. The more police there are the safer the streets are, same with the fourms. THe more moderators there are they faster topics and users like this will be taken care of. People should know that bashing topics and such should belong in system wars. Hence the name "SYSTEM WARS". I've been trying to become a moderator at gamespot for quite some time. My posts have been respectfull and I have been trying to help as many gamespot users as I possible can. But no luck for me :) I guess its just not my time. Gamespot knows whats right and if they feel I should not be moderator then so be it. But Atleast hire more to patroll the system boards :).

Anyway this will be the end of this blog post. I want to start posting a new blog everyday or every two days. Please leave your comments on this issue. Thanks!!

    Its finally here, 1 more week and the chrismas holidays are here! For all those who dont know, that means 2 weeks of no school!. That means, no homework, no work, no duties..only games all 2 weeks!! I dont know about everyone else but i've been waiting for this for a long time. Something about the chrismas holidays I like, i'm not sure exactly what but its somthing...a feeling you can say. I plan on starting my holiday by beating Rainbow 6 Vegas on the first day, then the rest of the holiday I want to play online 24/7 with friends :D .

    This chrismas holiday will be a lot different than last, I remember 2 years ago during the holiday I played runescape all day *I was a nublet back then*. Last years holiday I played Counterstrike Source all day *and I still do play it a crap lot*. I'm hoping to get some cool presants for chrismas, I dont really care what but I wouldent mind a new stealers jersey *wink wink* .

    Everyones asking me why I like Xbox 360 so much, they call me a fanboy, A noob for playing console, an idiot. Well Gamespotters and Gamers i'm here to tell you i'm no fanboy, i'm no idiot, and i'm defently no noob. I love my 360 and I have my reasons for it. But, I also own A Playstation 3, and a Wii. I also have a top of the line PC which is the best Computer in my school. In this blog Ill tell you guys why I love the Xbox 360 so much and why I think i'm no fanboy.

    The Xbox 360 has many features which NO nextgen system has. First of all, the 360 has Live, an unmatchable online experience up to date. With live I can see when, what, and with who my friends on my lists are playing with. Xbox Live brings me closer to my friends and their gaming more than anything in the past. Live also allows me to communicate with my friends by webcam, microphone, or text chat. Also with live i'm able to review all my friends games and their achievments.

    Microsoft is releasing slowly a plan to bring live to everything, their plan is called "Live Anywhere". Live Anywhere will offer cross platform gaming (computer vs 360). Cross Platform gaming has never been achieved before. So basicly, people on the computer will be able to compete with the people on the Xbox 360. Live anywhere will also offer Live on Cell phones. You will be able to play your arcade games on your cell, and also communicate with friends, and see who's offline or online. I can keep going on and telling everyone why I love live so much but then my blog will be over 20 pages long.

    Similar to rewards in real life, with every Xbox 360 game *including arcade games* microsoft has offered up to 1000 achievment points. To obtain these points you must unlock goals in every game. For example, you must complete the story mode on Hard Difficulty, if you obtain this you get a certain number of points the developer chooses. Achievment points give a lot more replay value to the game, they are downright addicting and worth the play. When you play a 360 game you just want to end up getting all 1000 points and you wont stop doing so until you do. Now, not all gamers feel this way, a lot of  360 users feel achievment points are pointless and dull. Personally, I think there a great aspect of the Xbox, none of my other games on any other console offer it, its a way to compete with your friends and see who is better in a game, or plays more :).

    I want to address the issue of everyone calling everyone a fanboy just because they play a certain console. Now, there are fanboys in this world, you will occasionally see a 360 user go rant about the 360 in the ps3 section *thats a fanboy*. But everyone let me assure you, I am not one of those people, nither are 90% of Gamers. Every gamer has the chose of picking which console they want to play on, let it be PC, 360, Ps3, or nintendo, they can choose. A fanboy in my mind is defined as "A user who rants about a certain console and talks bad things about other consoles". The main reason why i'm no fanboy is because I respect ALL gaming machines. Games are games, every console that someone plays is their choise and not mine. If they like playing it then they should be happy, I have no arguments. I love every console right now, I have no arguments with anything. Thats why i'm no fanboy.

    The life of a gamer can be a fun and hard life to live. You have the duties of trying to be the best at every game you play, and you also have to try to maintain your marks in school so your parents keep letting you play the games. Many people find being a gamer/student is really hard. In some cases I find it the most stressfull occupation I have and sometimes the best occupation.

    Every single day for probally the last 4 years the first thing I do every morning is turn on my computer. Then like most people I would check my email first and see whats happening in the news. Every weekday I start school at 9am and I finish at 3:30pm, when I come home I have to eat, do my homework and at times work on my projects and study for tests. My marks right now in school are averaging at an 82% (thats an A in Canada for all you American Gamespotters).

    Lots of people ask me (and I mean a lot) how I maintain such A high average and still maintain to get a lot of gaming time on my 360 and PC everyweek. Well guys ill tell you my secret, I pay 100% attention in class so I can reduce my studying time. If I pay attention in class I have a higher chance of remembering the information and using it for tests, thus cutting down my studying time. Ill be honest with everyone at gamespot, I dont study much nor do I do my homework. The only times I will study is when I have a big test coming up, I study and my motto is "If I know it I pass, If I dont Then I dont". For every gamer/student out there who wants to maintain high marks I personally say start doing these:
1. Pay 100% Attention In Class
2. Study when you have a test coming up *Try to study right when you get home for around 3hours so you get more gaming time in*
3. All the homework that you know the teacher will count for marks do it!!
4. Remember, Take a break and play some games, it will refresh your mind *tetris is good for this*.

    A lot of school in North American society make fun of gamers, they call us "geeks". Well guys, ill tell you somthing the word "geek" should be a complament to every gamer out there. As long as you maintain a pretty good social life, and get to play all the games you want to play and try to become best in them then the people calling you a "geek" are the noobs. I am guessing around 80% of kids in North America...no sorry make that around 99.9999% of kids AND MANY adults have tried and play a video game on a regular basis. Heck..Even 3 teachers of mine play games *Wii and 360*.

Well for those who dont know Pure Pwnage Episode 12 Came Out!! Episode 12 is the Last Episode of the Season and I have to admit it OWNS. They did not solve every mistry of Pure Pwnage in this episode but they sure did solve a lot. They give out the full names of the cast and crew and EVERYONE who has been in Pure Pwnage. Also you get to see a little secret of Kyle :). This episode is a lot longer than the other ones, around 45 minuites long.

Hey Guys, I have not done a video blog in quite some time because my mic and my webcam have been giving me a hard time. I fixed it up to th best I could (the quality is not 100%) but it gets the job done. Anyway in this video blog I talk about how expensvie PC gaming has got and how it use to be back in the good old days :P.

Hey Gamespot,

This is another one of my blog posts. I have not been posting a lot of blog posts on gamespot because I have been busy learning Adobe Primier so I could make awesome video's. My latest Video I made yesterday and was working on it for a couple of hours. I made a Tribute to my favourite Book and Mini Series of all time called "Band of Brothers". For those who dont know Band of Brothers is a story about the 101st airborne Division (Easy Company). It tells the story of them in WWII under the command of Richard Winters. Every single part of the story is true and it truly is a sad story. I reccomend everyone on gamespot or who ever is reading this blog post to buy it. It's a must have Mini Series. Anyway this video was the first video I ever made on Adobe Premiere.
