Playing KotOR on vista is a matter of luck...I managed to get it running without any hitches but later when I had to re-install the game it just wouldn't work.

You could see the faulting module in the error report and do a google search on it...

Ummm...so basically, if YOU don't like a game then it becomes a fact for everyone else? If a game sells as much as the Sims did then i guess those 100 million buyers are kinda stupid, eh? I'm not into The Sims but it being bad is a matter of personal opinion rather than a fact.

Well I was offering MY opinion on the game as would you if you said something like COD4 was bad and as have people all throughout this thread...

Just as me saying Sims is bad doesn't make it true for anyone else, the opinions of 100 million people do not make it true for me, does it?

If I judge a game to be bad in MY opinion, and it has 100 million sales( up 1 million since yesterday lol), wouldn't that be precisely the reason I would consider it to be overrated?

I' not saying I LIKE it, but it is fun for a while. About it beeing bad I don't know, what's so bad about it? it's a sim what can be better in a social sim? gore, koreans, aliens, cars,vietnamese, story. weapons, new maps?

I hope Sims 3 will be released soon, it can be fun :) but only fun and creative, because sims aren't made for the same reasons as RTS, FPS, RPG, Adventure, etc

Well...the primary reason for playing games (for me atleast) is to escape reality...whether that is being a soldier or a theoretical physicist...now if I have to do the same boring things that I do everyday in my life, that somehow doesn't sound like much fun to me

Sims is not overrated because nobody expects anything from it and nobody really talks about it + it's didn't receive some top scores from reviewers, it's just something that most of us buy (yeah I have it tooand so do another 99+ million people)and we don't really talk about it, because there is nothing to talk about, it's just a casual fun game that let's you bild a house and take care of a family, just like a pet except the emotional part.

Well the first game got a 9+ rating and the second a 8.9....and 99+ million sales seem to point out that it IS overrated..

How come only one person mentioned Sims??

It has got to be the most mind-numbingly dull game ever!!!
