No. Xbox fans do not care about japanese games and Japan does not care about xbox consoles so its not really a big issue. Even western fans of japanese games are all on playstation.

It really is not. Console gaming has turned into a dumbed down version of pc gaming where only story and presentation matters while very few actually give a shit about gameplay mechanics and game design.

Because the xbox is at its core a console that only tries to appeal to the mainstream casual audience. There are very few genres that actually appeal to this crowd and because of that there is very little variety.

Except Xbox gamers do dismiss the Japanese industry. Nearly all japanese games sell like shit on xbox even in the west.
