Wow this is pathetic. I thought they would atleast convert peoples points into currency value.

NathanDrakeSwag

Microsoft has such a terrible problem with messaging here. We've heard from them, what, five times on this topic, and still no one really know what their plan is or how it works apparently, including Microsoft. I mean, imagine a Gamestop clerk trying to explain all this moronic bullshlt to a potential Bone buyer...

Ultimately, though, I like this method, much, much better:

I still get the feeling that this whole sharing clarification was brought up in response to them being flayed and eaten alive at Sony's conference. That's why they didn't spend any time talking about this during their own conference; because it wasn't in place. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that they are finally seeing the light after acting so pigheaded and stubborn, but:

A) It's still unclear what their policy is

B) Policies from competing companies are more traditional and far, far less restrictive than the "relaxed" policy they are pitching.

Microsoft is in a box. There's little they can do, save for starting over and throwing Don Mattrick to to the wolves.

actually when they released their policies before E3 it had a section on family sharing. now they've pretty much just went into more detail about it

[QUOTE="R3FURBISHED"]

[QUOTE="Ackad"]I can't stand QTE games. I'd rather watch someone play it.stereointegrity

According to Crytek, the button prompts are part of their combo system and not QTEs.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wG6hpTOrMx4

and according to everyone who watched it that crap was a QTE....atleast god of war mixed it up with QTE's instead of u having to do it to every single enemy u come across

they're optional

I wouldn't believe a word that comes out of EA's mouth if my life depended on it.  They got rid of online passes.  Why?  Because they knew MS was heavily restricting and imposing limitations that would not necessitate them.  Now, Sony having come out and said what they did, they're going on record as the good guys.  What a load of malarky.

Btw, you once posted that you found a work around to get these forums working?  Like copy and pasting the link into notepad or something?  What was your advice again, these boards are intolerable.

I agree, if EA like used games so much they would never have included online passes. & also polygon basically asked them if it was there fault for DRM, and considering all the negativity surrounding it, they're obviously not going to say yes, as it would make people begin to hate them as well as MS.

This isn't going to work how the TC thinks, get real dude. You'll have to be part of the family, probably have to be on the same internet, can only have a game running in one place at a time etc...

Wake up lems.

Eddie-Vedder
well to add family members to XBL gold family pack you just enter there email and password for their gamertag. What are MS going to do? DNA tests? & who care's if only 1 person can play a game, only 1 person can play if you lend someone a game. IMO this is better as 10 people will be able to share there whole libraries with each other instantly over cloud

not really the same as it is now if they start blocking single player as well. EA will probably be doing this, considering they just got rid of online passes

[QUOTE="Magik85"][QUOTE="bblundell"]Link to confirm or deny?clyde46
Tretton said that about half hour ago at gametrailers. I think its safe to assume that if EA/Activision/Ubisoft will block their games on XboxOne, they will do it also on PS4 :(

They aren't blocking used games on the Xbox, they are just charging an extra fee.

actually there just making it so you can only get used games from certain retailers
