Switched the memory dimms, same problem after about an hour of playing. Any thoughts? Bad motherboard? Bad RAM? This is getting frustrating.

What graphics card do you have, are you sure it doesn't mean video memory?
I'm fairly confident it's system memory, but not certain. The warning says "Your computer is low on memory".
2GB GTX 770. I'm only running one 1080p monitor.
for the past few weeks I've had issues with games crashing due to low memory (according to the windows warning popup). I'm just not seeing how it's possible though.
I have 8GB on dual channels
The system recognizes the 8GB. When the games crash I'm not even using 80% of the RAM and I'm not running a bunch of background processes. Any ideas? Let me know of any other info to provide.
This is at idle, Steam running in the background and Chrome up.

I'm just happy I can now use Shadowplay to record ARMA II. Even compared to Dxtory, the performance hit is minimal.
You can try Dota 2 and League of Legends. Both are free, very popular, and have some pretty vibrant colors.
For realistic graphics I lean towards ARMA 3. The game isn't for everyone, but the visuals are outstanding IMO.
Otherwise, "best game" is very circumstantial and hard to advise unless we know what you like and maybe what you've played recently.
Edit: Check out the stickied screenshot thread for some more ideas.
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned battlefield 1942 as their favorite, it started the whole battlefield franchise and people just seem to completely disregard it. I'm 17yo and it is still by far my favorite FPS!!!
@th3_3volution, Why did you resurrect an almost 8 month old thread?
My experience is that Steam just opens up Uplay. At least that's how it is for Black Flag.
Thanks man. Played it a little when it first came out. Free is always a good way to get me to try it again.
According to Gamespot, it's just the Xbox One and PC versions that are delayed. All other platforms should get access on time.
Sound quality is a very subjective category (as well as too much money). I couldn't find speakers that I considered good for "not too much money" for my standards, so I ended up with a used hi fi set for around €100 and I'm more than happy with it. But it's a stereo system and it's quite big (not an issue for me). If you want surround I think you can get better quality for less money if you choose a 5.1 headset. Hope this helps :).
Agreed. Some will really notice a difference in the sound quality. To others, there isn't a big enough difference to spend the money or time on speakers and an amp.
So, unless the OP is willing to spend a couple hundred, the best thing he can do is just go listen to some speakers. I've personally liked my little 2.1 set by Creative. I've had it for a while now though and it's no longer available.
