You know I have always owned playstations. From the first gen and into the fourth I will continue to support Sony because they make the games I like and I am cool with their policies. Last generation they made some major mistakes. The whole online hack and the way they tried to ride the coattails of the ps2. It was almost like they were pulling a bunch of crap because they were sony and they could. I even got a yellow light of death on my 60 gig and lost all of my save data, not fun considering I had put so many hours into my ff13. Customer service was also no help. With all this being said I stuck with Sony because I still believed in them. Xbox needs Playstation and vice versa because they drive each other to be better. In the same way that people complain about their cell phone carriers, you don't want any to go away because they create competition and innovation. If there were only one gasoline company they could charge whatever they want because they are the only show in town. We have to stop bashing each other because of personal preference. Buy the system(s) you love because of what they offer and be happy that there is such fierce competition. I love Playstation but I also understand why Xbox, Nintendo, and PC are so important to the gaming Landscape. Don't blindly pledge allegiance to companies. Make informed,intelligent decisions based on what you want and need. At the end of the day we are all gamers so in one way or another we will be connected. :)
@casshan02 Really now? As I recall PS announced their console first. Microsoft dug their own graves with that used game crap. It's not Sony's fault that microsoft shot themselves in the foot. I respect microsoft and nintendo but dumb is dumb and always will be. Now go pay more money for your gold account while i play online for free genius.
Please make another proper LOK game. I have literally waited 10 years for them to make another one. What in the world is going on? This is one of my favorite series of all time.
@Stebsis @r8edR I didn;t mean you couldn't own both. Simply saying that normally people like one more than the other and that is the system they buy. These systems are expensive man and i'm broke so....only one for me. :D
@PsiZombie @r8edR I hear you dude. But people always say you are a fanboy if you support a system different than the one they like. I'm black, my ps3 is black, my pc is black, but my teeth are white. :)
Ok so this is a pretty simple debate. You either are a fan of playstation or xbox and you will buy accordingly. I have been a fan of playstation since it came out and I will probably not switch sides unless something absolutely crazy happens. This does not, however mean I am a fanboy because I also recognize the revolutionary ideas and concepts microsoft has conceived. With that being said folks don't jump to any conclusions on what the next systems will or will not do. Honestly there will not be that much of a difference between the two systems. Even in the past most people chose a console based on games. Exclusives are quickly disappearing and even the ones that exist at some point get ported to the other. So buy the system you like and don't get caught up in all the hype and propaganda.
This series to this day is still my all time favorite. I don't necessarily think it needs a reboot but a continuation from the story in defiance. I am happy to hear there are some new people working on it to perhaps breathe new life into it. I wonder is this game being built on current gen tech or next gen? Either way great series to resurrect...its been way too long.
