After you download demos and arcade games do you still need to be connected to the internet to play them?

kick ass games to come. I want 13 games this year, with 9 of themexclusives(two of them time ones) I think bioshock and blue dragon will be a good start but wheneternal sonata drops thats when its gonna hit me that 360's in full swing. then great titles like halo 3 and gta 4 will be the icing on the cake. Whats your game that kicks it off for you?

The problem with your argument is that you and many people don't look down the road. I don't care what is out right now at this point in time. I purchase something for the long haul. Heck by your argument, everyone in the whole world should have bought a 360--just because it came out first and when the PS3 and Wii came out they had very few games compared to the one year old 360.

The problem is that most people want instant gratification and need things NOW NOW NOW. I don't mind being patient--as I see Sony's line-up and find it far more appealing than any of the other systems. Sony is known for amazing first and second party games--and those are the games that I bought the system for. Also MGS4--I can't live without that game (ALL TIME BEST GAME SERIESEVER, IMO).

Then factor in the blu-ray player--you should really check out Mission Impossible 3 or Bond in high def on a 60 inch 1080p set--It will blow your mind. So the blu-ray player is huge plus in my book.

As far as online goes--I am not sure why everyone claims 360 to be so superior in this department. I know they are somewhat better, but not much. Doesn't PS3 play games online with zero lag in Resistance and RS:V? It does all of this for free! To me I would rather have it free as I don't really care much about cross game chat and all of the bells and whistles that live offers. All I care about is playing online with friends for free and zero lag--and the PS3 gives me that.

The only people that your argument could work on is people that plan on buying a PS3 and 360. If you were going to buy both, then it would make sense to buy a 360 now (as it has a decent library) and then buy the PS3 this holiday as that is when all of its great games are coming out.

Bottom line--I am still enjoying Resistance, Motorstorm, Oblivion, RS:V, and The Darkness--I have more than enough games to keep me busy while I wait for the huge swath of blockbusters coming out in the near future. And when I am not gaming, I can watch a movie in HD which is really great. And I don't have to worry about my system spontaneously combusting either--which is a great benefit!

HuhJustaBox

So....there no point of buying a ps3 right now.....like the TC says. The great games arent coming out till 08 anyways. I give the ps3 haze and HS for07but mgs4 and FF13 are dropping next year.

From now until midnight its cheaters, star trek, the man show, cops and ninja warrior. Where the hell are my games. Its would be nice if they could broadcast live online games. Since gamers are always online it wouldn't be hard to find games but i dont think its technically possibly to stream live matches. But it would nice to watch live games of sports, gears, rainbow 6, call of duty jus to name a few. What do you think?

I hate the melee. It does a crap load of damage and when someone is losing to you in a shotgun fight the other guy is like "hey, I suck at gears so I'm going to melee you"

Meleeing is a sign of desperation.

RogueEdge

So if you get slapped by someone thats sucks doesnt that make you worst. Anyways good and great players can also evolve. If your weakness is the slap and you can get past that then you arent that good. its like "Hey i can slapped this guy all day he sucks.

What? Noobs melee, it should be common knowledge. People only melee because they know they'll die if they don't. It's the noob's way to win.

You sound exactly like the big loser who sucks so bad at a game that he blames other people for using something that is part of the game.

This is for you.

Thats what i was trying to say. Thats loser talk If i ever heard it, and i have fromyou trick. I hope I run across you online so i can slap the hell out ofyou.

[QUOTE="ragincoley86"][QUOTE="Staryoshi87"]

[QUOTE="Clan_Crushbone"] God, love how all these halo fans are coming out of the wood work ''assuring'' everyone else the Halo 3 single player campaign will be fantastic. You have no way of knowing, nor does anyone else. Your just going on what Bungie says. Ill believe it when I see it.
Staryoshi87

Are you criticizing their gospel? Blaspheme! There's no reasoning with Halo fanatics from what I've seen. From what I've seen it looks like they're taking the lazy way out (like Gears, etc) by skimping on the single player yet again.

You havent seen any of the single player for halo 3 what are you talking about.

Exactly.

so........how can you form an opinion about single player when nothings is released yet. Its like saying gears 2 is gonna suck. There no info on that. Im not saying its gonna be great or bad im saying wait to 9/25 to fully judge the single player.
