@drodriguesaar Nah, mate. Too soon for that. I certainly hope that's not the case, but if I'm to keep my expectations grounded in reality, it won't be announced this soon.
Imagine this: GabeN comes up on stage unannounced, snatches the mic from Phil Spencer who's in the middle of announcing some game, calmly says "Half Life 3" and leaves the stage.
Homefront's premise is a little too far-fetched for me to really believe. A lot of the things that lead to North Korea gaining immense power just don't make sense (the formation of the GKR, for example). Having said that, the first game was somewhat interesting. It's atmosphere, in particular, reminded me of City 17, which is cool.
Looking forward to what Crytek can do with the franchise.
I have a feeling this year's E3 will amaze. With console announcements out of the way, Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo can focus on new games and that's always awesome. And while it's true that E3 conferences can get mighty awkward at times, it's worth it as you get to see awesome trailers and gameplay live with millions of others. That's what I love most about E3. People get together for one purpose: video games!
I'm new to the souls series and I understood the mechanics well enough to finish the game in 35 hours :/ I really don't understand why you missed out on much of the core mechanics. Pay more attention to what the tutorials and the characters say, dude! I understand that you're not used to such games but please try. It's really as good as people say it is.
All I can say is don't blame the developers. They work hard enough to do what they do as it is. It's the management, the people who don't have to deal with the actual software development, who are at fault here. Much effort goes into convincing investors and share holders with detailed plans and prototypes of the final product way before the product itself has even gone alpha.
