@Legend_of_Link: Lack of hype is a good thing actually. Do you not remember No Man's Sky, which was the epitome of a runaway hype train? Let the game stand on its own and stop wishing for hype.
@murphbri: Sure, they're entertaining, but you're still watching people play a video game. I could see maybe watching a few minutes of them playing, but the entire RE series? Sounds like an utter waste of time and money for everyone involved. Knock yourself out if that's your thing I guess.
Forgive my skepticism. All I know is I'm not going to buy one and I purchased both a Wii and a Wii U. If there are ever any compelling games made for it, I'll reconsider, but I don't see that happening. I can play the new Zelda on my Wii U if I want, but I'm not even sure I'm that interested in it. I think Nintendo is in it's deepening twilight.
@mpl911: You are right, these are shooters, not survival games. By the weird logic I think is being used here, all shooters are survival games. Fail. The Division having a DLC pack entitled "Survival" doesn't make it a survival game.
@nintendians: Same here, except I seriously doubt I'll ever buy into the Switch. Buying the same games for every new Nintendo console gets old pretty fast.
@kyelo: Yeah, I didn't say anything about popularity being the only criteria for judging anything. You said that. Kinda makes you seem silly for saying something so ridiculous.
Why am I not surprised? Of course a game that isn't even the most popular game in its genre would naturally be game of the year, right? Gamespot does not disappoint in its stupidity.
