Imagine this! A Gamespot comment section where Gamespot (and in this case: Edmond) isn't completely bashed in by the commenters?? HAS THE WORLD GONE MAD???
I find it funny how this site seems to attract, with every single article, the biggest whining crybabies ever produced between family members in a way that would make George R. R. Martin blush.
I for one am glad with this remaster. It looks better than the original, and I'm sure the extra bonfire and online options will be a blast too. I spent way too many hours at this game, and frankly I can't wait to do it again. This was the best of the series (even with the incredibly great DS3). Quite giddy to visit Lordran again, and fight Sif or that scaleless traitor.
You know who has more video games than any other country in the world? Japan. You know who never shoots up schools? I would also say Japan, but it's actually any other country than Asserica. What a retard. And they voted for him.
How is Sega not a "major console" if I may ask? SG- 1000, Master System, Mega Drive (Genesis), Mega CD, Saturn, Dreamcast and the portable Game Gear had many hundreds of great games and were a major pain in the butt for Nintendo.
And I never had a Nintendo, but the NES isn't even on this dumb list??? None of those 7 people here aren't even old enough to drink, I'm guessing?
Well, I do admit the chase was waaaay too long. Come on, they can't contact other star destroyers to loop around one cruiser at hyperspeed? Other people apparently have absolutely no problem jumping to a casino and back...
How the HELL can bombs fall down in space???
One person stays onboard the hammerhead corvette (or was it the medical frigate?) so the rest can escape. Why doesn't HE turn around and kamikaze at lightspeed?
The ending had me baffled too. They have exactly one ship left, about 20 people in total, no funds, no fighters, and the biggest hope of the galaxy in the form of Luke is gone. Because of the unfortunate death of Carrie Fisher, Leia will be gone too. In the meantime, the First Order has countless resources, ships and troops. Ayup, no need for a third movie in this trilogy. The Resistance is done for. Game over man. Game over.
All that being said, I still liked the movie. It had some AWESOME scenes, like the samurai battle in the Red Room and Luke being badass for a short moment. Also the interaction between Rey and Ben is fantastic. Haters gonna hate, but all in all, a very enjoybale movie as far as I'm concerned.
I will happily pay top money for a good game, and in some cases, I even buy the extra content if it's a significant add-on (like the extra stages in Dark Souls, for example.
However, I will NEVER pay a lot of money for a game, which at its core, needs you to spend even more money if you want to have the best gear/characters. EA has permanently lost me, I will never buy a game from them again, for greed on this level is just deplorable. For shame, Battlefront 2 looked really cool and I really wanted to fly over Kamino :-(
@cfscorpio: very original, someone insulting Gamespot because their own opinions differ. You don't like the reviews, suck it up and don't post inane comments.
@luciann: people will always complain, it's what they do. You are very correct though. A F2P attitude in an already full- priced game is just utterly wrong, and it cost them.
