How many of them are active users. Probably a quarter.
WoW only attracts a niche group. And that group is ageing and having kids. Once it starts to drop downhill they will not be able to spark new interest for younger gamers.
PC gaming isn't dead but it is like an 80 year old man. It's out of date and stubborn and soon to pass away. WoW will follow.
Sex and war is just another aspect that he can explore. And he does it subtly, tasteful enough and with plenty of humour.
During World War 2 the men would be told not to speak to women. As they could be spies. And apparently female spies are more effective. But they definitely add a different dynamic and I think Kojima touches on these very carefully.
Showing women on a poster or locker door makes the game more believable and masculine. That is what war is you are locked up with men 24/7. I think he highlights this well but not too much.
The fact that he combines gameplay into it is just genius.
