[QUOTE="Quintinius"][QUOTE="djrobst"][QUOTE="Quintinius"]theys a difference between them letting console made content built on your 360, and content made on a pc being put over to xbox. thats why far cry got away with it and unreal never, beacause microsoft wont open any holes in they system where people can put unsigned code on the system, as they might find a way of putting something else on the xbox instead of map mods etc then use a exploit to launch it to mod the system. thats why they wont open up all these functions to keep the people who hack they xbox to play copies have less options to exploitI really, really doubt it. You think MicroSoft would let Bungie make this? Not a chance. Because of their strict policies, they won't let games have moddable content. It looses out on crappy microtransactions. Just look at Unreal Tournament III. I'm sure Forge was a stretch.
This is the same reason we won't be getting Spore ever.

That's sounds reasonable, but when you consider the fact that they could've just restricted mods from the PC and PS3 but still let Xbox 360 users MAKE THEIR OWN mods, which would've made sense. But even after 6+ months of negotiations, MS didn't let up on any fronts which make it seem like we won't be seeing a map editor. Guess you never know though.

the map editior is too spec heavy to run on a xbox 360. its not just like forge or drop this here in a big empty room, check out the specs of a pc you need to run it. most computers cant even handle it. need around 1.5gb of ram for it to just be useable. thats why they aint a map editior built into the ps3 version where they allow the mods. because its not even upto spec to run the programI'm curious as to where you're getting these specs when we don't even have a map editor to compare with the 360:roll:
Perhaps one would think Bungie would fine tune a map editor for the precious 360 to rune smoothly in order to gain a huge feature for the almighty Halo 3? :P
The cheap people are hard to beat. By cheap people I mean those that know one to three combos and just mash the kick or punch button rather than trying to use strategy witht their combos to take me down. I'm not one of those people that suck so much at the game that they can't beat the cheap people. I'm not horrible but I'm not amazing. The guy I always use is the Apprentice. I can perform his combos the best. My second favorite would be Nightmare. I'm able to beat cheap people some of the time. However, when they use extremely fast characters, like Amy, or Kilik with his long range, it's much harder.
I played the game for like a week straight after it came out. Loved it as I previously owned the second one on the original xbox. I occasionally go back to the game to play some arcade or story, but I stay away from online because I just get infruiated most of the time. A small amount of the time that I am playing online I will meet people that actually play the game as they should.
I loved the game. It definitely had some negatives to it, but I thought the action (although somewhat annoying at times) and story made up for that. Although, like many other people, I was disapointed with the ending. I thought the Firstborn would be the same guy that was in the trailer for the game. To find out that it was actually a baby that could steal your powers, I was disapointed.
I wouldn't give the game to a garbage bin at all. Then again... I could've just been a sucker for the story and didn't care for the rest of it :P I couldn't stop playing the game cause I wanted to learn more
I don't understand why people feel the need to pay 800 MS points for a mediocre arcade game, just so they can be rich before even playing Fable 2. I mean, surely part of the fun is starting off as a poor urchin with nothing, and slowly becoming wealthy, rather than being able to buy whatever you want upon starting the game.
This arcade game is a blatant marketing ploy to get more money for the developers and I really can't see why everyone is buying into it. I'm really hyped for Fable 2, but I certainly won't be buying this arcade game.

It came free if you pre-ordered from gamestop. And I've been playing the trial of the games on XBLA, they're aren't mediocre. They're actually somewhat fun to do when you're in the mood for some quick card games.
