Im back i have a laptop but i have a little project that i have been kinda thinking over the past few days/week i hada good conversation about Industrial music with a friend and said why dont we try our hand at making our own on my new laptop :P even though i only have a mic input so sound quality running from the amps on the bass and guitar wont be all to awesome.

But its kinda got me in the mood to make my own project using what i have (2 basses and a guitar) to make a demo of a kinda industrial metal similar to rammstein using software synths,ezdrummer and a few other programs.I actually havent been this excited bout writing for a while cause im aiming to make it mechanical yet still retain an organic feel so my friend said he might lay a solo or 2 in on it when he's down visiting his mum :P (he stays up North).

Anyway fellow Gsers do you think it could be a good idea to pass time and possibly show my more creative side :P I will probably upload my wares when they are finished and mixed :D.But its gonna be a nice idea and a few people irl texted me saying that it was intresting and said hasa good bit of potential xD.

Well yeah im addicted to the new green day album (shakes fist at my friend) cause theres a load of catchy songs on it like peacemaker i actually started dancing to it on a train home from glasgow out of having a sheer laugh at like 8pm at night, but thats just my randomness as usual needless to say my gf was embarrased xD.

Also start college next thursday and its rather annoying all i can do now is watch the days go by slowly and play Rock band 2, if anyone has it on PS3 im up for a game if im playing if im not playing a game im listening to music or playing bass so i will most likely not reply at all or reaaaally late.

Oh and im starting a real band hopefully in the next couple of weeks basing ourselves off a mix of ash,Feeder,Green Day so kinda Alt-Rock/Pop Punk with a cover of No sleep till Brooklyn thrown in BUT using our hometown instead of Brooklyn and it will fit i think.We got a temp guitarist and i cant thank her enough xD, but were meeting a guy in a few days bout playing recommended by her but i only know him in passing.

Also i highly suggest checking out Anti-Flag's new album People of the gun, its got the old skool edge to it and is a lot more stripped compared to their 2 albums before it.Its just brilliant.

aww no that time for us scottish folk where we dread the post coming and i mean dread im not really bothered i got my unconditional for college. so its not really a big diffrence to me but still the money is what im thinking bout and i want myself a celebratory beer ROFL.

i will be PCless for a while actually posting this from my parents laptop stole a shot since they are away out.I kinda stopped playing games recently im only playing about 1-2h a week in total, but PS3's on as its my main source of internet LOL.

Been to about 5 gigs since my last blog all local and all were awesome, few extremely good bands in our scene and one is fronted by a good friend of mine and they have a style like TBS/Paramore/NFG and another one which is balls out death metal nearly broke my arm at their gig the numpty i am.Also partying and getting ready for College at the end of the month and i got close to a girl i kinda fell out with a while back think everythings getting slightly better and im getting a pop-punk band off the ground right now im on the bass and im getting an Epiphone thunderbird instead of a P-bass cause really punks about sticking out and its a perfect thing as its tone is kick ass on green day songs aswell as holding up when im jamming with mates who play metal xd

well long story short my computers bricked it and i can barely get a a shot of my parents laptop so im not able to get online too much :'( but i did use the cash i was putting towards a new computer to go to Alton Towers earlier in the week but imo it was well worth it purely cause i ws going with friends only went for the day as a local church was running a bus and we all got spots on the bus which was awesome as one of my neighbours was an organiser.

But i had an awesome time and im not really missing my computer al that much going to a party tonight and i got a bottle of Jack D, dunno whether to drink it straight or mix with cola either way its gonna be good :D

Yep both are f'ing useless if you want a better way of putting it which rather annoys me, i can barely find a job with the recession and to boot they buggered up with the college funding and bursary forms on the net haw haw haw what a brilliant surprise -_- seriously they sent out a letter asking for my parents income and they didnt ask it on the internet which in all fairness the wording was more pathetic it was like a Primary 1 had actually wrote it..

But the next part that pee's me off is that some of the saunter in the country and have links to not so nice organisations and actually end up leeching off the money people who have lived here all their lives im looking at the likes of Hamza who shouldnt even be in the country and leeched off us for soo long and yet i was born a British citizen and i get screwed over at every chance i get.Im sick to my back teeth with this useless lot.

Well hangover is unreal to be honest but it was the Bo'ness Fair yesterday do you expect me to sit inside when it was brilliant weather even got a bit of a sun tan xD.Went to the shows after it and went on the American looper thingy like 4 times in a row and got it spinning reaaaly fast woo....Also had a bit of a drink which was just as much fun drank beer and cider nd that was it no flashy expensive stuff cause i wanted to keep cash to see testament live.

Anyway i had good fun but my head hurts :( so do my legs must've walked like 10 miles.

Yeah im still here but im not posting as much as i used to :'( cause i left school and im doing things like getting ready for going to College doing an HND in CAD at Forth Valley college its close by so im pretty looking forward to it since i have a lot of mates there :P

On another note a few of us were talking last night bout starting a thrash metal band and use a hybrid of newer thrash and old style Metallica and Megadeth i think it will probably lean towards the latter as that era of music is amazing, learned kill the king and whiplash on bass dunno what song next would love to have a slayer song under my belt but after hearing megadeth's cover of paranoid i think i will learn that over the next couple of days :P

Also bought GH Metallica and all i can say is it is awesome got a t-shirt and artcards with it out HMV cause it finally came out in the UK :P

On another note i bought a Laney RB1 bass amp its 15w but it still has a lot of grunt for a smaller amp and i really like it after i tried it in the shop was funny when we got a similar tone to Motorhead on it after turning the bass and treb down only leaving mid and the gain up a bit was epic sounded pretty cool for whiplash :P

Well topic says it all thinking of keeping a log of the songs im learning and that just for something to do :P im not really a person for posting youtube vids but if i do play live i will try and see if any get posted only started learning bass and focusing on it fully on Thursday.

All together i put in roughly 4-5 hours a day and a whopping 12 yesterday, just wish i had an Amp since i only have one for an Electric and it sounds horrid with a bass ran through it but i might be getting an Orange Crush 35B which is £150 for looking after the house when my parents are on holiday at the end of the month yay!
