To me it seems that the whole time exculsivity thing is received backwards from the playerbase. The thing is that the ppl that get the game first(on Xbox in this case) will play the game in it's rough stage with all the problems that will probably come with launch. While those who'll get it later(in this case the PS4 crowd) will enjoy the game in it's refined stage with all the fixes and stuffed applied to it. Regardless they will play it a year later, and while that contradicts with the whole 'i want it now" mentality of the gamer crowd, it still is a good deal imo.
As for me, although i do own a Xbone, i'll wait for the PC version as i always do in these cases. But that's becsuse i'm a PC gamer first and foremost.
All in all, it seems like a great game and can't wait to try it out.
Finally, best news i've heard on the TV front for quite some time. That means that the movies can be more action oriented(as they are) while the series hopefully return to the franchise's original routes of space exploration with more complex storytelling and character development.
And people tend to forget Mortal Kombat X. Another WB game released this year that had problems with it's PC version. For a few people that game was also unplayable for a small amount of time. Granted the problems weren't of this scope and got actually fixed by now but still this is the second time in a year. And if your name is Warner Bros, that's a VERY BAD thing for your reputation.
"feels like pushing stuff out because you've run out of ideas."
Or you know, because you can give the option to ppl to play their favourite games on their new console. Like, in my case for example, with Halo and Xbox One.
Yes, making money is always the driving force behind any decision a company makes. But that doesn't mean you can't get a nice deal out of it as a customer.
First: It's a "[Enter random popular movie IP] :The Game". Usually these kind of titles turn out pretty bad.
Second: This multiplayer moba madness of our time has gone too far, imo. I mean...Friday the 13th? To me it seems like a wasted oportunity. This would work perfectly as a single player horror-survival game where you can't kill the main baddy(Jason) and you can only avoid him, a la Alien:Isolation. Pity.
