To answer all the (ignorant) comments below. Stadia's selling point is NOT exclusives. At least not at the moment. The target audience of this service is ppl who don't want to spend 200-500 on a box that downloads tons of GBs to play a game. It's for ppl who want to sit on their couch, turn on their smart tv and start playing AAA games straight away. I don't know if it'll be succesful(that remains to be seen) nor do i encourage anyone to buy it(i know i won't). I'm just trying to distinguish apples from oranges.
Translation: "The MMO scene was becoming stale and absolete so we turned it into something that would find more appeal in modern audiences, aka a first-person-pvp-hero shooter". ;)
That doesn't say much in this day and age. Almost every book is being cancelled after a handful of issues and gets restarted as #1 for sales/marketing purposes. It's a trend. Long gone are the days of truly "ongoing" series.
Well, aside from Amazon where you can pre-order anything i guess, since they put placeholders over there rather than actual listings. You know, the site where you can also pre-order Metroid Prime 4 for quite some time now?
@gamingdevil800: Not sure but when a company acquires the rights to a character that license goes along other characters/assets related to that character's lore. So that means that characters like The Leader, Doc Samson, Abomination and probably She-Hulk are included in that deal. It's why, for example, Marvel can't use Galactus in their movies because his movie rights go with the Fantastic Four license which is owned by Fox.
P.S. Double checked and it seems that Universal indeed owns the rights for She-Hulk
@crashchaos: This. There are many(and i mean many) ppl that have been from uninterested to borderline disgusted of the Bayformers in the past. The new aesthetic, plus reboot, is what was needed in order to breethe some fresh air into the franchise, for some time now.
I really hope that both Insomniac in their upcoming Spidey game and Marvel Ent. in their next Spider-Man movie will take their time to make something nice that pays tribute to the influence and imagination of this comic book legend.
@afromakka: Well, while DE is a lot more competent dev studio than....whatever Bungie is today, they don't have Activision backing them with millions of dollars in advertising hence why they don't get so much coverage. Fortunately that doesn't seem to bother them since they've been releasing content and updating the game in a crazy tempo. And you only see an article today just because it has something to do with Nintendo, otherwise ppl wouldn't even know there was a TennoCon yesterday.
