Quick question...why? What about the 360 could possibnly attract them? It's Cheap and has got a big and versatile librarythis gen, though I do love my PS3 just as much and I think it's got just as great a library but I think the 399 price tag is still expenisve
just because its cheap doesnt mean people will buy it. and we all know "casuals" dont pay attention to the library. it needs the same attention that the wii had. it needs a "gimmick" if you will. something that will cause it to be featured on every show, every news broadcast, etc. right now, the xbox really doesnt have anything like that to catch the public eye. one could say netflix, but people would say, "why should i go out and buy a new device to watch netflix movies when i can do it on my pc?" or even, "id rather go to blockbuster"
Have you even been playing the game? Every preview and review of the game says completley otherwise if you don't want to take my word for it...

been playing it on my roomates ps3 in single and co-op. not. all. that. immersive.
Then what kind of games are immersive to you?
honestly, there arent many that are. i want to say morrowing/obivion, but even they werent. at one point i felt that re4 was immersive, but then that passed too. everything always feels like a game, but not like im actually in the game, if that makes sense
i said it once, and ill say it again. this is just like the nes days. great first party titles. crappy third party titles with some gems here and there. this same stuff happened 20 something years ago. my, how quickly you all have forgotten.
i would say transformers is a good movie. i would say this, that is, if i could tell what was going on half of the time. they really screwed up with the design of the robots. whenever they had fight scenes, if the characters werent optimus prime or bumblebee, it just looked like a bunch of huge gray metal blobs going at it. and some of the characters were a bit pointless, like the army guys. they didnt need to have as much dialogue as they did. anywho, im not going to be a movie nazi about it though.

Again, the image of the Wii and who its for is also part of the marketting, theyve aimed it at the non-gamers, and theres billions of those
and how will the non gamers see this image if there arent many commericals for it?
