I agree Halo 3 or even reach on PC would be so great, the PC community are so great with creating content and they could really bring the game back to life. Too bad the odds of it coming to PC are slim and not being locked down by MS even slimmer
The problem I have is that I like to earn new armors and customizations, not buy them. It saddens me that ms wants halo to be for casuals. I remember when I earned Security/katana and Recon or even buying inclement weather I felt like I accomplished something now I am rewarded when I pay money.
Coming from a huge halo fan, this franchise is dead and it is the sad truth. Bungie was so great with the community in Halo 3 and Reach was so well made it went without a huge update for a year. 343i is making a new halo game instead of supporting their current one with content and it is one of the reasons why the franchise is dying. The biggest problem I have is that 343 knows nothing about halo mp because they changed every single thing about multiplayer except that it feels like a Halo game.
I would love some Forza 5 but not enough to justify $500. The PS4 has some great looking games and so does the one, but dat $400 is a bargain compared to the one. If they would have made the kinect not required at $350 I would have chose that instead. The only way to get me to want a one is with Halo actually being mind blowing, support comparable to Bungie with Halo 3, and not just copying the competition, because Halo is losing it identity. The Xbox One has poor exclusives IMO Ryse looks awful and I dont like the whole concept of Quantum Break. The PS4 has DriveClub for free considering Plus is kind of mandatory for online gamers and Knack looks interesting. I dont support the MS idea with the One, so I will buy a refurb model a year or 2 later.
