Thats strange because I am in love with the 4.0.4 update for nexus S. No homescreen or scrolling msgs lag.

However bear in mind that GB was smooth as silk anyways so they couldnt have made it faster.

The ram usage has increased significantly in ICS so maybe the multi-tasking capabilities are adversely affected. Honestly ICS brings so much more functionality and good looks that I wouldnt mind a bit of performance loss for it.

You can try doing a factory reset, most people have been very satisfied with the ICS update for nexus S that came a few days back.

may i know how to do the factory reset?? but it will erase all my data and apps, correct?

i just got my ICS update yesterday, but i noticed that everything becomes a little bit sluggish.. swiping my home screen is a little bit laggy, scrolling through messages is also laggy (never happened before), also especially when updating apps.. before, i can leave the update running in the background and do other things, but now when i press the home button while downloading and installing app update, everything becomes not responsive.. anyone with nexus s experiences this??

mass effect 2.. man this game is simply addicting for me..an rpg with fast paced action shooter.. no other games felt the same way to this one. I didnt play the first one though.. i tried fallout but i feel like it's too slow paced for me.. borderlands is also simply not up there with this game.. i've yet to play deus ex, it looks like a great game too.. probably after i'm bored with skyrim and finishes ME3, lol..

to buy an intel cpu will never be feesable for me now that intel is dead set on not letting a socket last mroe than 1-2 cpu lines. i prefer amd as a result. it also doesnt help that they rarely if ever lower their prices. it was like going to the bathroom after holding it for nearly 2 hours when i gave up my core 2 quad for a phenom II. it did very little for me but felt oh so releaving.

i wont go bulldozer.. not yet

my next step is to nab a phenom II x6. ill sit on that for a while ideally a 1090t since my local store is dead set on having the 1100t at a stupid price

ionusX

just a friendly advice.. dont make a stupid purchase only because of extreme brand loyalty.. :)

just a heads up.. the audio gd amp has got a bad review from this site.. http://www.headfonia.com/no-music-audio-gd-nfb-12/

but hey it's just one man speaking, so the decision is yours..

if you still want to use the udac..perhaps u can look for a used dynalo (gilmore lite, sheer audio 006, or even a used DIY one).. i auditioned an hd650 with a GLite recently and i think they were a good pairing..

Sennheiser HD598 (8.5/10)

I'm currently using these for everything (music, games, and movies) and I think these are really great.. The soundstage and imaging is really wonderful, not to mention how it always make vocals sound so good.. The only con I have with these is that on certain songs, I feel like the bass is lacking in extension and authority.. however, i think it's worth the $170 that i paid for..

Fischer Audio FA-003's: 9/10

ravenguard90

Damn..i've been looking around my local hi fi store to audition those fischers, but no local retailers have them.. where did you buy it from? I had those SE215 before but I sold it because I felt the treble was lacking energy, making everything sounded muddy..otherwise the mids and the bass were fantastic though
