#1. PC. This is the best platform for gaming enthusiasts. It offers the largest library of games, the best gaming community, and the most versatility. Example: Want to listen to music while you play games? Pc does it best, with any service you want. Drawbacks are that it can be expensive and sometimes it requires technical know how.

2. Nintendo Switch. Its portable and home to some incredible games. BOTW is an absolute masterpiece. The drawbacks is Nintendo doing Nintendo things. Their online store sucks, games cost more on this system than their counterparts, switch online requires a phone app for voice chat..... really Nintendo wtf?

3. PS4. This is my most recent purchase and I got it for Spiderman and god of war. That's all I have for it. I like the interface. Cons: Sonys stance on gaming. Everyone repeat after me, cross platform and backwards compatibility is good for all gamers.

4........ and finally.....xbone......as a long time xbox gamer, I can't say enough negative things about this console. Half ass releasing state of decay 2 and sea of thieves was the last straw for me. Microsoft games studios is a ghost of its former self. I bought this console twice this generation I won't buy another xbox product until it proves itself worth buying. Get a PC instead it does everything this does and better.

This is honestly hard. But the first two are easy:

1. Nintendo: not my favorite company but they pretty much have to be number one, they have been making legendary video games since the 1980s. Nobody has contributed to the videogame industry like them.

2. Blizzard: been making amazing games since the 90s. Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft. I feel their quality was better in the past but they are still one of the better devs.

Beyond that its difficult. Bungie - quality drop. Epic games- quality drop. Lucas arts and Westwood don't exist anymore.

I'm gonna go with:

3. id software

4. Bethesda

5. Creative Assembly

1. End companies trying to overmilk customers for money with loot boxes, dlc, and their other bs.

2. Remove SJW influence and making things PC just for the sake of being PC.

3. Bring back single player and couch coop.

4. Stop copycat trends, not everything needs to be a battle royal or a loot shooter.

5. Some orginal games/ideas. Cod4 modern warfare was awesome. COD24 isn't. Gears of War, Mass Effect, and Halo were awesome when they were new ips. They have gotten stale.

Xbox 360! Even with the hardware failures. Gears of War and Mass Effect were so badass for their time. Plus Halo, Fable, a ton of fun stuff on xbox live, the awesome blades interface, customizable themes, avatars........ xbone is so effed up by comparison.... sea of thieves and state of decay two just say it all they cant even release a complete game today.

I'm going to skip the obvious Halo 5, Halo MCC, and Sea of Thieves and say two games a bit more obscure: 7 Days to Die, and Marvel Heroes /Omega.

7 days to Die I loved when it was in Alpha 10. It needed polish and end game content. Instead the developer rebuilt the game on a new engine and added a grindy leveling mechanic complete with item quality. Ruined the game for me.

Marvel Heroes 2016 was great, I loved it over 50 playable characters from the marvel universe in an action RPG from the developer of Diablo 2. But it was shut down because it wasn't making Disney money anymore. Can't even play offline.

Working on Far Cry 5 and mgsv. I keep getting sucked back into games like Ark Survival Evolved, Conan Exiles, and Warhammer Totalwar. As a result I have a single player backlog: Gears of War 4, Batman Arkham Knight, Mad Max, Shadow of Mordor, Southpark, Tomb Raider, and about 3 assassin's creed games.

Microsoft screwed up when they screwed up Halo. There were other screw ups but that one was by far the worst.
