It actually depends. Some have abdomenal pains that hurt like hell while some have extreme mood swings. Our bodies are made differently but there;s no need to be scared. ^^ It's not that bad and happens only once a month.

I actually thought of this thread today -- I'd missed my period for the past two months and this one was late, but I finally got it today. :P

Ah, pregnancy scares. The longest time I didn't have my period was for a month. I couldn't function properly until I had it.

I wish I could but my boyfriend didn't allow me. He said I was having too much junk food.

Well, this may not be proper dinner conversation but it seems decent enough to be posted here in GameSpot. In my defense, if much more sensitive topics such as sex, politics and religion can be discussed freely here then why not normal bodily functions such as a woman's period?

I'm not angry or anything. I just thought I'd explain myself why I poste such a topic.

Anyway, it seems the most common symptom is mood swings. No one has mentioned food cravings so far.

I may not be the right person to say this but I suggest you break up with her. The more you force her to stop smoking, the more she'll feel suffocated and stay away from you.

Besides, there are plenty of fish in the sea. You might find a girl prettier and more decent than she is. ^^

No. I've flown so many times and I'm fine so far. The occasional turbulences scare me though.

It does. My real name is Jiea (pronounced "Jee-yah") and I don't know why my parents spelled it that way. When I tell acquaintances my name, they spell it as Jia, Gia, Jea, they just can't seem to get it right.

And when they read my name the first time, it turns out to be Jeh-yah, Jee-eh-yah and even Jia-yah. O_O
