Wow! What a game! What a month!

To those of you that saw the Cardinals/Titans game, you know what I mean when I say, "WOW!". I literally felt like I was going to have a heart attack in those last two minutes. It was awe-inspiring, mind-blowing, epically amazing when I saw Vince Young take his team down the field, 99 yards, and throw a game winning touchdown to stun the Cardinals. For those of you keeping count, since Vince Young took the reigns, the Titans are on a five-game win streak and are going strong into a clash against the undefeated Colts. A week from today, the Titans' season is once again on the line. A win puts them at .500 with an easy schedule that would likely land them into the playoffs, while a loss likely ends any hopes of a playoff run. Regardless of the outcome, the Titans have shown the world, that even in a hole as deep as 0-6, if you have the mind to pull yourself out of it and get back on track, anything is possible.

It's time to FINALLY celebrate!

What a week it has been! After ten months of disappointment and let downs, things have finally, finally, changed for the better. Starting on Friday, after eight straight losses in poker tournaments with friends, I FINALLY won! As if that wasn't good enough, the Tennessee Titans, who had previously lost eight straight games going back to the 2008 season, finally won! And as if THAT wasn't good enough, after looking for a job, I recieved a phone call this morning saying that I was hired! For this first time this year, (as if it wasn't late enough), things have finally, FINALLY, turned for the better. Hopefully this starts a domino-like effect that rolls over to 2010!

Have you ever just gone back and looked at your blogs?

I just did, and wow. It's weird to see my progression as a person over the last 4 and a half years. Changes include, girlfriends, friends, schools, lifestyle, the way I type, the outlook on life, the different people who commented on my blogs, etc. It's pretty weird to see this slow, but certain change. Have you ever gone back and looked at your blogs? What have you noticed?

Windows 7 and more!

So, how about a blog that doesn't have to do with how bad this year has been, nor about football? Let's talk about this new craze for Lockerz "Well golly gee ReMMbErMyTiTaNs, what is this Lockerz I've been hearing about so much?" you might ask. Simply put, Lockerz is an online survey site, where members earn "PTZ" for performing simple task like registering, logging in, inviting friends to join, and completing survey questionnaires. Members can use their accumulated "PTZ" to purchase and pay for the shipping of a range of goods including electronic devices like Apple iPods, computers games, make-up and jewelery. Now, I've signed up already, become a Z-List member, and already have 128 PTZ, and am aiming for an Xbox 360 Elite Package. For those of you not already signed up and would like an invite, feel free to leave behind your email address, or even just send me a PM if you don't want your email address to be seen.

Now, tomorrow marks the official launch of Windows 7 and all of those Windows XP fans who have been waiting to upgrade, can finally breathe easy. I've had Windows 7 now for about two weeks, (through DeVry University's tech program, we got a hold of Windows 7 Professional for free!) and I'm here to say that it's all it's hyped up to be and more. For those of you on Vista, don't expect any major changes. It seems to be the same as Vista, only it's been cleaned up and done right. To be honest, if you've got Windows Vista SP 1, you shouldn't be in any rush to go out and get it. Now, if you've got Windows XP and stayed away from Vista, now's your chance to upgrade. For the first time, you'll have access to DirectX 10, and I've got to say, it's truly amazing. Not to mention that when DirectX 11 is released, we'll be able to use it! Windows 7 is what Vista should have been and it's good to see that Microsoft heard the cries of its customers and did what needed to be done.

Well, that's all for now!

"There is no failure except in no longer trying."

That quote says it all. The Titans were embarrassed, destroyed, stomped on, dismantled, blown out, and killed by the Patriots today. 59-0! We didn't even score, we got maybe 5 first downs, and were dominated on both sides of the ball. We're 0-6 heading into a bye week, and we're a team without direction, without a leader, and without a clue. We've pretty much lost any and all hope for a post-season this year, and barring some sort of miracle, we've got nothing to play for.

My current theory on why we're doing so bad is a combination of a few things. First, we've got some injuries to our Corner Backs and Safeties. That's why nearly every team has been able to kill us through the air, as evidenced by Tom Brady's 6TD performance today.Secondly, our current defensive coordinator, is not doing his job. If you remember, we had Jim Schwartz as our defensive coordinator and he was a damn good one. Over this last offseason, he left to take the head coaching job in Detroit, and the Titans promoted the assistant defensive coordinator to take over. Clearly, we need someone new. Finally, our quarterbacks are all messed up. Kerry Collins may have hit a fountain of youth last year, but clearly his well has dried up and he's not doing the job anymore. And our supposed quarterback of the future, Vince Young, clearly has not been any better. In fact, he threw a pick on his very first pass from scrimmage.

So what do we do? Unfortunately, this year is pretty much out the window. The only thing we can do is start to think about next year. That means getting a high draft pick (a new QB), healing up, and firing and replacing our defensive coordinator. This is going to be a long season.

You can stick a fork in us. We're done.

What happened? Where's the 13-3 team from last year? Is our season really over after five weeks? Do I really need to begin to say, "Well, there's always next year?". I can't believe the Titans are pretty much done with. What a dissapointting season.

ReMMbErMyTiTaNs' Tumblr!

Woo! I've finally finished! After spending 12 grueling hours relearning HTML and learning some Javascript, I've finished editing my Tumblr! Basically, I took someone's already made theme and edited it so that it could reflect more of my colors, style, etc. I've got to say I'm pleased with my work. I've still got some tweaks to make, but I'm happy with what I've got so far. Tell me what you think!

That's what I get for fooling around...

What happens when I play a game of baseball, overstretch a muscle and then a few weeks later, roughhouse with a few friends? Tendinitis. That's right, yet another injury to add to my growing list of woes. About a month ago, I ended up playing a friendly pick-up game of baseball and in the process, hyperextended one of my shoulder's muscles. Thinking that my injury had healed a few weeks later, I participated in a pillow fight/war, and ended up crashing to the ground landing on that same injured shoulder. After visiting the doctor's office earlier today, I was told that I most likely have Tendinitis. Yeah, I could have done more to prevent it, but seriously, is anyone tired of this year yet?

How about them Titans?

My goodness, what a difference a year makes! This time last year, we started off as one of the hottest teams in the league, we were 4-0 in the month of September! About 365 days later, we've gone the other way, 0-4 and our playoff hopes are disappearing faster than you can say "Super Bowl". The only thing that can be said is that in 2002 the Titans started off in a simliar situation. They started the season 1-4, before winning the last 10 out of 11 games en route to clinching a division and making all the way up to the AFC Championship game. As bleak as it looks, I hope that we pull together in the remaining 3/4 of the season.
