People should never forget about the scalpers on eBay. This situation is at least as much their fault as it is Nintendo's, and eBay should ban the practice, if they can.
@RSM-HQ : I'd like to know about batter life, too. I wonder if that was a sequel to Splatoon or just the original game, because they don't have a lot of third party titles that are ready to be shown off right now.
Well the rumors were remarkably accurate. Portable, uses cartridges, etc. I just watched the video, and I personally think Nintendo did a fantastic job with it! In under five minutes, they clearly communicated a lot of information about this new product-which they didn't do with the Wii U in a much longer press/reveal event. I doubt that the Switch will be backwards compatible with Wii U games, because I didn't see any optical drive in it, during the video. At any rate, I think Nintendo has already done a great job marketing this new console, and I hope that they keep that up.
The thing is, every PS3 (at least, initially) cost $900 to manufacture. So at $600, Sony were loosing $300 on every PS3 sold. They shouldn't have made the PS3 so difficult to program for, with the cell processor, and gone with a cheaper, more conventional system architecture.
I don't think it had anything to do with the timing. Having expensive proprietary memory cards for the Vita is what killed it. I really don't understand why no one from Sony will admit this.
If I owned a PS4, I might get PlayStation VR just to play Battlezone. If you like retro games at all, definitely check out some footage of it! My only concern with Playstation VR at this point is how much space it takes up just to work properly-it looks like a whole room!
I thought you couldn't play, much less beat, this game unless you were online? AFIK, there are no offline game play modes. And that would mean that there would have had to have been at least one other leaked copy, which didn't happen. I'm skeptical.
Awesome! Will you be able to play your NES cartridges in it? It looks too small for that, but there wasn't anything posted in the article about whether or not you can.
