My favorite platforms are the playstation and xbox
I choose playstation overall because that system got me into gaming. So many series started there resident evil, twisted metal, crash bandicoot etc. For the xbox I liked because of Halo and many computer games ported to it. I couldnt play them on my computer so xbox made perfect sense. Plus not having to worry about memory cards anymore, also use it as my mp3 player
I regret selling my Genesis :(, back on topic i think that if you want to enjoy retro gaming, you need to have a mentality that games are not only a trend or a fashion sometimes i play my n64 with my friends and they give a f*** , the graphics or the poor(by today standards) n64 analog stick, the only thing that matters is fun and alot of old games have that and more.

Thats completely right on whats cool and in for society. Being only 21 years old I played SNES not much just mainly for donkey kong country :P But as I gotten older I have relazied what I missed out on. Playstation was where I got my game addiction. And sold it and got a ps2. Now I have rebought my collection plus added more to it. To me the last generation of video games (ps2, gc, xbox) seemed to care more about gameplay than graphics. I haven't jumped into this gen probably won't for the only reason many games are the same with pretty graphics, with a 60 dollar price tag.
I haven't played SvR 2008 but heard its not to good. Ever since Vince bought wcw his fire has gone out. Even the video games have suffered because of this. I hope one day tna or any other wrestling company changelles Vince. Because when ever Vince is threaten he gets his head out of his butt.
Lets see my longest would be playing 4 hours with my friend. Can't think of the name of the game but before that with the psone it was 6 hours with WWF Attitude. My friend and me played it so much the system froze up from heat so we turned it on its side to make it run.
