@coppershark1973 I never said the technology was the same. I actually mentioned it was different in a previous comment. And yeah, my own mistake. I`m not to use to having women make anything that doesn`t come from the kitchen(joking). And uhhh, if everyone were like me, how would that mean we would only be driving fords? See, thats not how an arguement works. You can`t put words into peoples mouth and expect them not to notice.
@fa11en1134 I would rather play without the controller in the whole motion sensing scheme of things. I mean we`ve tried nearly the same thing as this with the Wii (and I mean with Wii Motion+, because the controller itself isnt much). And I really hope i`m not the only one who sees how much of a copy this is anyways.
I'll just think of it as buying a $20 dollar game (Wii Sports: Resort) and the MotionPlus will be an added bonus. Then I won't feel too gypped. Honestly, i'm ecstatic. This will really improve gameplay on the Wii. I want to see some sort of StarWars or Zelda game come out with precise lightsaber/sword controls. It could feel like the real thing except being exposed to such a threat of either excruciating pain or death.
Nintendo had fair time periods between each release of the Nintendo DS. They COULD do this because they had high sale records. Plus the DSi has sold over 80% of the units shipped in the first month. They didn't have to cut their prices in half to rush in some buyers.
KingOfOldSkool, you say "it will not convince most people who can actually afford a PSP or iPod Touch to pick up another DS" and Nintendo should "avoid getting too cute with their habit of oversaturating the market with pointless hardware recolors and redesigns yet AGAIN" but isn't that what Sony did with their PSP... twice already as well? And in a shorter period. Which could probably mean Sony isn't profiting well from their sales so they have to spruce up the product over and over. And don't say thats stupid considering if they WERE still profiting as well as they hoped, they wouldn't draw attention from the previous product which they could wait until the sales dry up from it and THEN release the new product. Advancely, Sony is suffering to the popularity of the DS.
