It's interesting. As I read through the comments here it's pretty obvious that very few people (read that as "kids") have any idea about how the free market works. Gamestop sells used games because...wait for it...BECAUSE THEY CAN! There's nothing insidious or spiteful about it. Because for everyone that bitches and moans about "evil fat cats" and "evil maniacal corporations"...there's hundreds...if not THOUSANDS of others who will GLADLY BUY A USED GAME. See, it's simple market economics. Don't blame a company for providing a service that SO MANY PEOPLE WANT. If YOU don't want it...then don't shop there. But to deride a company? That's childish and immature...which so many posters appear to be. If you want to blame anyone...target your hate on all those "annoying poor people who buy used games"...there's your reason Game Stop succeeds.

You'd have to choose whether to kill your opponent or ally yourself just long enough to get yourself out of a mutual jam and then kill him to take his weapons and / or ammo. There are perks and bonuses for teaming up. I know this would work. It's just a matter of balancing it out enough. But it would work.

Here's a multiplayer game:

COD / BF style game that has you fighting each other as well as a zombie hoarde. Matches start as team based PvP but then the zombies start entering the battlefield. A few a first...then more and more...until finally you're forced to form alliances with your foes. But to ultimately win...you need to get a higher score or reduce the opposing teams counter down to zero...and the fastest way to do that is to kill an opponent. The counter will be affected by...say...for every 8 zombies you kill equals killing one opposing team member. Just a thought.
