COD 4 easily. The multiplayer is seriously addictive and I really like modern warfare, WWII IMO is boring. The last WWII game I played and enjoyed was either BF 1942 or MOH AA (both PC). I'd say COD 2 and 3 wud be good but I never played them
COD 4 has no bots like you said just simple 4 player split screen. Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2 are great for playing offline with a friend, I'd also say Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 is, but my most wanted game is Timepslitters 4 which will definately have it but its not comin out till 2009, or even 2010 lol
Also maybe a Jaguar XJR15 its a beautiful car, but I heard it doesn't handle. It was in NFS III (as was the Nazca C2 the TC pointed out which is also badass), and I thought it was awesome
