[QUOTE="rickyrickyricky"][QUOTE="HybridPhoenix"][QUOTE="mtcoola"] I loved Lord of the Flies, and wrote an essay about Piggy last year, ill see if i can find it. Usually i'd tell you to do your own work, but I love this book so much (I dunno why)
pretty much piggy represents order and logic in the book. When he dies, the world the kids know go to hell. They become savages. His glasses represent life, for without them the fire would have gone out. He also represents science, the way he logically thinks about things. The book is supposed to represent how we can be savages, and this is witnessed when the kids kill piggy. It shows that order of the world is destroyed by war.
i hope that helps, thats what i remember from the book, i'm not sure if that will help though. And its kinda hard to explain

If you loved the book so much you'd tell this guy to read it and do his own work.
Gimme a break, like 2.5 more chapters and i'll be caught up
It doesn't hurt to have an awesome essay, plus my partner never read at all
Don't worry about it dude, I need help every now and then even if i do my work, and lord of the flies has a LOT of symbolism, so there somethings someone else might see that you dont. i hope you do well on your essay and if you need more help i'll be here
EDIT: i just noticed you're a cowboys fan lol. packers fan here. not so sure i can help now....:P
thanks:P
lol yeah, cowboys & pack losing to the giants killed me, Brett Favre was my all time favorite non-cowboy since i was a kid & the pack had always been my #2, idk about next season though...
