Now even though I might get moderated for advertising, I felt the need to show you this. These are pretty good for even GG's standards.

... and I haven't give mine out. So first one to post asking for it, gets it. If other people want to offer theirs too, go ahead.

[QUOTE="chrisrooR"][QUOTE="Prodigy_basic"]

this is no doubt an excellent price...i've always thought about buying a gaming pc to play games like crysis, but as a multi-console owner i'm not sure i'll even have the time to play every good game that comes out...that, and i know nothing about building a gaming pc so so i've stuck to consoles...

about that pc, how much would it cost to upgrade to run crysis warhead closer to the 60fps range?

Prodigy_basic

Throw in an 8800GTX or an 8800 Ultra and some more RAM and you're in buisness. Probably another 200 dollars if you switch up the parts.

Just remember that it's way cheaper to build your own PC.

seriously? i might have to start looking into it then...depending on how money goes i might have $1000 or so for a gaming pc, and i always thought it wouldn't be enough to run crysis on high settings and at a smooth framerate...

thanks

I just built one that can do that for $800 (including monitor). It only took me a few hours to build (as a complete newb).

Well, as I was going into the game to get a screencap, everything was back to normal. I don't now why, it just works.

I recently purchased Bioshock on Steam, and in my first session playing it worked great, no slowdown, looked beautiful. The next day when I started playing it, Big daddys, Little Sisters, splicers, vending machines, and any thing that could contain an item (lockboxes, trashcans) started appearing black shiny and missing polygons. There was some a noticibly lower framerate too. worried something was wrong with my gpu, I played other intensive games (TF2, HL2EP2) completely maxed with no problems. I updated my GPU drivers, and searched sround for a hotfix for the problem. I found one that pertained to my problem but it didn't work either. So I ask, has anyone had this problem and found a way to fix it?

By the way my GPU is an HD4850.

I'm tired, so i'll make this quick. Does this mobo (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138122) have any wireless internet capabilities? If it doesn't could you recommend one? Note: I have T1 internet service.
